With Salter back and a legit back-up (who could start anywhere else but WOS & Silsbee at this moment) I think they have a serious chance. Barring injuries that would be my pick.

Next year,the nod goes to then Sr. White.  He's got a nice arm.  He's tall and athletic. After that, Smith, accurate passer, good hands with the ball, tall and strong as well. Both White and Smith strong arms on the mound in baseball as well, don't see them getting "looked over" on the gridiron.  I didn't see much in the interloper who transferred in, not quick at all, running the ball, not a strong passer, really doesn't perform to Ned's QB standard, kinda shaking my head???? [/quote] We scrimmage This Friday, but it will be a three way scrimmage with HF and Beaumont Central at BH (No idea the format of this). Your friends from BH may not have been around long enough, but the team from last year was no where near the best BH team. Can't wait to see BH in the scrimmage next week because I have not seen any practices just talked to some folks and know a couple of kids on the varsity. This year can be a pretty good team, but I'm expecting next years team to be the best of the last three.
