1. Dup is now officially someone else's "problem".... unless there's another teenager out there y'all would like to bash on for being immature and not always making good decisions.  Maybe now the panties of Nederland can collectively become untwisted. But no matter what, you can't take away his God-given talent, so if you've got it in you to pull for a kid who just wants to play baseball, wish him luck. Otherwise, you don't need to worry about his 'bad attitude' any longer. Win-win, right? ;)
 2.
Bmtball he also did something bad this past week. How does he pay for that?I guess if you have talent you get a lot more chances.Hope he goes to HJ and then the majors and has a great story of how he turned his life around.
You have no idea what you're talking about and apparently just enjoy spreading rumors. He did nothing 'bad' last week, believe me, I would know. It's time for you to back off of this kid.
 3. Expect to see a determined Duplant out their once this season rolls around. He will be back full force this year. Nevala and Stampley should complete this rotation. Gabe and Korbin looked great as starting pitchers all summer. After those three you have Sanderson, Sampere, Raines, and White.
 4. Kid with a ton of talent but an even better person. Very deserving of the recognition.
Do you expect the boys to disobey their coach? They are doing what they have been told to do, period. To do otherwise would be disrespectful to him.
People from PNG are the type of people who refuse to pull to the side of the road when an ambulance is trying to get through because they are much too important to be inconvenienced in any kind of way.
This is getting ridiculous. If you really believe this or expect anyone else to, please check with our #79. When he's not at school or football practice, you'll find him at the Groves fire station as a volunteer firefighter. I'm pretty sure he can straighten this out for anyone who's confused.  ::)

 7.
Faithful, dude, seriously??? It's a sign of common respect, sportsmanship, I guess you've never heard of that!
I'm not a dude. I'm the mom of one of those boys on the field tonight. Did you even read the article? There was no disrespect intended.

 9.
Thank for the concern on Sezer. He's ok. I talked to him after the game he landed on his neck and lost feeling in parts of his body but they came back. I must say, however, a lot of upset Bears out there for png not taking a knee while he was hurt. Classless!
*sigh* Here we go again.  ::) [Hidden Content] Should knee be taken for hurt football players? The recent collection of letters to the editor and frequent chants from the stands on Friday night seems to make it clear fans are focused on the latest high school football trend: taking a knee when a player is injured. The genesis of the practice is unclear. It could have come from soccer or football at pee-wee levels, where kids are asked to drop to one knee not so much out of respect but to keep them under control while the coach tends to the injury. But somewhere along the line, as the players grew out of youth leagues and into high school, the on-field genuflect has come along for the ride. Read more: [Hidden Content]#ixzz1bU0VGj9g

I'm not sure why some people are making a big deal out of it. I for one am glad I didn't get caught doing all of the stupid things I did as a teen. Let them take their punishment and move on.
Amen td ! Amen  . They're children
Kids being kids would seem to apply when kids sit around someone's house and drank are at the local park. Being at a school event and drinking on campus is a whole other issue.
Be careful about throwing rocks at glass houses.
Well said Bigdog.... ;D ;D ;D
So you can confirm PN-G football players have been caught drinking at school organized functions on campus? If not there is no glass house.
There were several Indianette officers kicked off the squad for drinking at an off campus school event when I was in high school, back in the day. If I remember correctly, they were in uniform. Does that count? Teenagers screw up, period - even teenagers from PN-G. Their brains are not fully formed, especially in the area of decision making... proven fact. As much as I like to give my Bulldog friends h*ell, to pretend that this issue is confined to their campus is ludicrous. Signed, proud Indian mom of 3 imperfect but still extremely awesome Indian boys. [move]Scalp 'em Indians![/move]

 12.
I understand the idea of not paying your fair share but when a student transfers, he is effect brings his own tax money. The state pays for the child (up to $5,600 I think) to be in that school and it is probably a lot more than many or most are already paying for their kids to go to any school. As an example, if 100 kids transfer to PNGISD or any district, that can be about half a million dollars added to the budget. How much tuition do they need to then pay to go to a public school? Also remember, taxes are only paid by homeowners so the parents many PNGISD students are not paying any taxes. Considering that they bring money with them from the state (and let's be real, that is why districts want open enrollment) and the parents of many students living in the district don't pay taxes either, wanting to make transfers pay out of fairness to the "taxpayers" is not a valid reason.
This makes a great argument for selling your more expensive house in Groves or Port Neches and buying a mini-mansion in Griffing Park, doesn't it? Is that the sound of falling property values I hear in mid-county? I'd be tempted.
