They have 3 D1 commits: LSU, Baylor and Texas A&M.. But the girl you speak of may have chosen Florida now, I am not sure on that one. Three D1's is a lot of fire power though, it would be cool if they could pull it out on the 5a level as well.

They look like the real deal from the little I have seen of them. I think they win Region 3, I am interested to see if they can win state.

Tough loss for the Eagles. TC played great and good luck to them vs Foster.

K-Park wins 3-1. Great match up for these two teams with a playoff like atmosphere. Good luck to K-Park the rest of the way! BH completes the season at 18-5. They will play Texas City Thursday at Pasadena HS 6pm.

BH wins 3-0. S1- 25-12 S2- 25-16 S3- 25-13 BH 18-4 (12-0) on the season. Undefeated district champs! They did not drop a single set in district. On another note the 9th grade team and JV team both went 22-0 on the season and did not lose a set all season. Great job Eagles! Good luck in the playoffs!

Two thoughts: 1. Sterling lost some close 5 set matches, where if they had won that 5th set they are in the playoffs. But that is the beauty of volleyball. 2. Sterling is in a much more competitive volleyball district than they have been accustomed to when they were in 6a. One could argue that 22-5a is one of the toughest districts across the state. If you remember last year FW, SF, TC, GCM, and Crosby won thirty plus games. Now obviously you lose Crosby to 21-5a but you add the likes of Sterling, LP, and Manvel and that is a tough district where every game counts.
