1.
Round 1 is fast approaching so I am starting this topic while I have the time to.  Let everyone know what team you are reporting on; whether it is flag, peewee, jr. or sr. and finally, the score.
WOS Pee Wee-27  Vidor Gold-13 Great game today by Vidor Gold! The made us work for this ugly victory. Those young kids played their butts off and showed us why they made the playoffs. Congrats to our kids as well. We showed that we can win UGLY when necessary, which is whatcha gotta be able to do sometimes. And a BIG congrats to Lumberton White (pee wee). Huge win against a tough Nederland White team. So I guess that means it's WOS and Lumberton White---tha superbowl rematch from a year ago. Oughta be a blast!!
 2.
LOL  :-* [img][Hidden Content]]
I won't comment on the first pic...that's JR business ;D. But I like the second pic better. If u still have it, email it to me when u get a chance. It's [email protected]. Oh, good luck today. After Thursday night, sounds like u might need it ;)
 3.
Just wanted to say last night was a blast. When coaches from PNG, WOS, NED, AND Lumberton peewee and junior teams can get together and have a great time sharing what we love to do best is something special. Talking smack over great food and meeting good people and forming new friendships. It was nice to put faces to user id's. Let's all have a great weekend of youth football at its best!
It was fun! Thanks so much for inviting us. Tha food was awesome and the company even better! We hafta do that more often. It's nice to be able to get away from practices and game planning (and film study for some ;)) and hang with some great coaches who are also some awesome guys. Good Luck to all tomorrow, regardless of game times or who u play. But my question is this...where is this Super Bowl pic?? ;)
 4.
Hopefully, a WOS coach will respond to confirm this statement. Buddy, you are the one that is upset and made the statement about us winning on illegal formation... Blah Blah Blah..Why didn't you just forfeit? You have made several comments on several posts gloating about PNG's league. I am not knocking that b/c PNG had a great organization, but NOT on a WOS level. Everyone has made fun, tried to push people's buttons, etc on here but there really is no need to get all hostile. Let's all just calm down and enjoy our freedom of speech!!!
Statement confirmed. Had one kid playing with swine flu (mine, though we didn't know @ tha time) and a few others sick. Plus, it was by far our worst offensive performance of the year. But I'm not taking anything from PNG Purple. They're well coached and they're a heck of a team. Where they're seeded or who they play is of no concern to us (no disrespect intended). They'll hold their own against anybody in these playoffs. Personally, I'm pulling for them to get to the Superbowl (again, no disrespect to any of the other teams in tha playoffs).
 5. (caught on film) Kicking players in the back AFTER he is on the ground, starting running back out 1st half. Refs didn't see LO's not in position and standing during quarter 1, 2, 3. FINALLY the refs decided to participate in the game. Scoring during 2ND half was 14-7. WOS dominated our offense, BUT would have been a MUCH closer game after reviewing video. This type of shotty refereeing will NOT happen in the SUPER BOWL. Hope to see y'all again, WOS- Good LUCK! ;D CONGRATS TO PNG WHITE, LUMB WHITE, WOS for winning your division. GOOD LUCK to all the teams in the playoffs! I've heard 2 different versions about the running back. First, he was blocked in the back. Then he was kicked. We asked the refs who did it,but nobody (coaches or refs) could tell us who it was. When you find out who (should be able to see it on film), please let me know and I will personally handle it. We don't play like that and my kids know better. As far as the refs go, I seem to recall that every penalty in the book was called on us in the second half. And we didn't do anything different from the first half. Bottom line is you guys got beat. Now in no way am I gloating or throwing it in y'alls faces, but it is what it is. And like I told y'alls head coach, Nederland White is a heck of a team and will do well in the playoffs. But please don't taint our victory with excuses and accusations. Fact is the better team won. Convincingly. Good Luck to all in the playoffs. Should be very interesting..... Great Job Previs! As y'all continue to coach in this league u will hear all kinds of excuses. Especially win a team is 7-0 and plays Wos and don't show up at all like yesterday. First of all you have them beat before the game ever starts. Know why? Because half of the kids or intimidated by the WOS FLY MUSTANG ON OUR HELEMT. Second if our kids make a big hit the first play of the game. Third all week there coaches tell there kids don't let them get outside because they are fast. Then u bust one up the middle on them. So now there kids are like i thought coach side don't let them outside. They just run up the middle and scored a long TD. Fourth there game plan is all screwed up now because you're running up the middle and they have kids spread out from sideline to side line. So Previs keep UP THE GREAT WORK AT THE PEEWEE LEVEL. I BEEN COACHING IN THIS LEAUGE FOR 4 YEARS AND I DONE HEARD IT ALL WHEN WOS BEATS TEAMS THAT SUPPOSE TO BE GOOD. Those coaches were awesome face to face, but don't know what they teach on sidelines. The flags did start flying as should have been in the first play of the game. The kiddos from WOS played an outstanding game, very fast, very big, just all out athletes. I hope the best for WOS in the future, and looking towards Lumberton white on Saturday morning As head coach of the WOS Pee Wee team, let me first say that I appreciate the compliment about our coaches. They are an awesome group of guys and the best coaches I've ever coached with. Bam, we teach our kids to go hard from start to finish. It is never our intention to purposely hurt anybody, and we sure don't teach "cheap shotting." I think what it comes down to is this: u guys were undefeated going into Saturday (by the way, congrats on an awesome season). My guess is that y'all figured that y'all could do us like every other team y'all played this season (scoring alot of points, shutting teams out). And you all got dominated. That's not meant to be mean or put y'all down bcuz tha Bulldogs r for real, but it's the truth. And now, the excuses start flying. Shouldn't be that way. However, I do not feel that we saw u guys @ your best, which is scary. Good Luck to y'all Saturday against a VERY, VERY, tough Lumberton White team. That oughta be tha game of the week for sure.

 7. That is funny . Hope y'all come hungry. Oh, and good luck trying to catch these Wild Horses we have over here. Ask around,...it's not as easy as u think it is . This one should be a heck of a game. For sure our toughest of the season (no disrespect to any of the other teams we've played so far). Congrats on an awesome season. C ya Saturday! ;D
 8. It sure wasn't difficult for the PNG team to play every player at least 10 plays. There is no excuse for cheating!! Yes, I said it, that is exactly what WOS coaches were doing. How in the heck can a coach not know that he didn't play one of his players? After the game one of the WOS mothers was highly upset with the WOS coach for not playing her son one SINGLE PLAY! You can call me a cheater all that you want buddy but guess what that is not what happened the mother that went off on me was later shown and told by 4 or 5 other mothers that her son played, I guess maybe something else at th egame had her attention. If you wanted to stir the pot and get us all riled up man it's not going to work I'm not a child. I have also spoken with my head coach and we are going to ask for the other team to supply an MPR person on our sideline the rest of this year just for people like you. If you haven't seen my team yet you better ask somebody because my whole team is good BUDDY! The PNG coaches have even told you on here that we were good coaches and so were they I am not mad at the PNG coaches they were cool about everything I just wish people like you would go away and leave the CHEATING word alone! You sound pretty defensive for someone that hasn't played by the rules. Is that a better way of explaining myself. At the biginning of the season, I'm sure there was a coaches meeting regarding rules and forms. Correct??? Then how come you and the other coaches on this WOS team didn't have someone update the MPR sheet every play? I know why, PNG was giving you a great game and the ONLY way for WOS to survive with a victory was to not play the less athlete kids on your team. I apologize for the cheating comment, but I'm just upset when grown men make all the excuses up when you have known the rules from day one. THE GAME WAS CLOSE. PNG PURPLE HAS A PRETTY GOOD TEAM. MUCH RESPECT TO THEIR PLAYERS AND COACHES. AND IF IT SOUNDS LIKE WE'RE FAULTING THEM FOR WHAT OCCURED SATURDAY, WE'RE NOT. AND AGAIN, NO EXCUSES ON THE MPRS EITHER. BUT IF U KNOW ME, THEN YOU KNOW THAT I WOULD NEVER EVER SCREW OVER ONE OF MY KIDS (NO MATTER WHAT THA SPORT) JUST FOR A VICTORY. THEY R MORE IMPORTANT THAN A UNDEFEATED SEASON OR A SUPERBOWL, BCUZ THEY'RE (THA KIDS) THE REASON WE'RE THERE. BUT OUR SECOND TEAM (IF YA WANNA CALL IT THAT) IS BETTER THAN MOST TEAMS STARTING DEFENSE OR OFFENSE (NO DISRESPECT TO ANY TEAM OUT THERE-THAT'S JUST MY OPINION). SO THEM NOT GETTING THEIR PT IS MY FAULT CUZ I HAD MY HEAD UP MY BUTT( AND THAT'S EXACTLY WHT I TOLD MY TEAM). AND IF WE SEEM DEFENSIVE....WELL, IT'S BECAUSE WE TAKE GREAT PRIDE IN WHAT WE DO. WE LOVE OUR KIDS MORE THAN U'LL EVER KNOW. BUT SINCE YOU DON'T KNOW ME OR MY COACHES, I GUESS U CAN'T UNDERSTAND THAT.
 9. FIRST OF ALL, GET YOUR FACTS STRAIGHT. I STOPPED KEEPING MPR SHEETS AFTER THE FIRST QUARTER BECAUSE OF CLOCK ISSUES AND OTHER THINGS ON THE SIDELINES. AND I'LL TELL YOU LIKE I'VE TOLD EVERYBODY ELSE, THERE'S NO EXCUSE FOR ME NOT KEEPIN THE SHEETS. I'VE APOLOGIZED TO OUR TEAM (PARENTS AND COACHES AND KIDS) AND WE'RE PUTTING IT BEHIND US. AND AS FOR THE MOM IN QUESTION,...HER KID ACTUALLY PLAYED MORE THAN SOME OF OUR NORMAL STARTERS.HECK, HE RECOVERED A FUMBLE ON A KICKOFF. CAN'T DO THAT FROM THA SIDELINES. AND LET'S MAKE SOMETHIN ELSE PERFECTLY CLEAR...WE DON'T HAFTA CHEAT!! WE DO WHAT WE DO BECAUSE WE'RE THAT DANG GOOD! NOW I SAID I WASN'T GONNA GET WRAPPED UP IN THIS, BUT IT KILLS ME THAT WE (WOS) MAKE ONE MISTAKE, AND YOU (WHO OBVIOUSLY DON'T KNOW WHAT THA HECK YOU'RE TALKIN ABOUT) ARE ON HERE TALKIN ABOUT WE CHEATED. GET SERIOUS!!
 10. I AGREE. SHE HAD AN ISSUE ABOUT HER KID'S PLAYIN TIME, AND THAT SHOULDA BEEN HANDLED "IN HOUSE". NOT IN FRONT OF ALL THOSE VISITING COACHES AND PARENTS AND KIDS (WHO WERE STILL WAITING TO GO SHAKE HANDS WITH EACH OTHER). BUT IT'S BEHIND US. AS FOR THE FORFEIT, WELL, IT IS WHAT IT IS. WE BROKE A RULE, WE'LL PAY THA PRICE. BUT I'M SURE I SPEAK FOR ALL MY COACHES AND PARENTS WHEN I TELL U 92 THAT WE APPRECIATE THA SUPPORT. NOT JUST FROM OTHER COACHES IN OUR ORGANIZATION, BUT FROM AROUND THE LEAGUE. AND FROM OUR PARENTS...BCUZ THEY APPRECIATE WHAT WE AS VOLUNTEERS ARE DOING WITH THEIR KIDS. THIS PAST SATURDAY WAS JUST A SMALL BUMP IN THE ROAD...WE'LL BRUSH OUR SHOULDERS OFF AND CONTINUE TO DO WHAT WE DO EVERY SATURDAY: PLAY HARD, PLAY TOGETHER, PLAY WITH CLASS, AND LET THA SILVER HELMETS DO THA TALKIN!!
 11. I thought it was a gentlemans agreement at the beginning of the game. If you keep your own MPR sheet, you could "produce" anything you wanted. If I recall, the few times it was an issue, the opposite team kept the MPR on the other team. Am I wrong here? THAT WHAT WAS I THOUGHT, BUT APPARENTLY I WAS WRONG. IT WAS A MISTAKE THAT HOPEFULLY ALL COACHES WILL LEARN FROM. WE DIDN'T INTENTIONALLY NOT KEEP ONE, WE JUST STOPPED AFTER THE FIRST QUARTER. WE'VE KEPT THEM EVERY OTHER GAME. AND NOW WE KNOW.
