1. WOS has been winning Super Bowls on all levels way before the "big school, small school" format. And we can, have, and will compete with ANYBODY. Regardless of who they are or where they're from. And btw...how did that District battle for first place against WOS go for yall last year? LOL!
 2.

.. being a coach for Lil Mustangs doesn't warrant for talking noise.
You should tell that to the other WOS coaches...that's all you guys do. :o
You must have us confused with some of our past coaches. Lol. But even still, I wouldn't necessarily call what we/they do "talking noise". It's more along of the lines of stating facts. Our record speaks for itself  8) 8) 8)
 3.
Correction, at the current time, it is not LCM.  Little Cypress does not pull kids from Mauriceville, therefore making it smaller than most 3a schools. That is why it is in the small school bracket.
Thanks for clearing that up because I really wasn't sure how they wound up in the small school division
 4. The league split us into two divisions: big school and small school. Big schools are PNG, Lumberton, Beaumont, Vidor, and Nederland. Small schools are BC, OF, WOS, LC, and Kountze. All 4A schools (except LCM) are Division I, and the 3A and 2A schools (Kountze) are Division II. So...at the end of the year, you have 2 Superbowl champions, one for each division.
 5. And who are y'all playing in the playoffs, Brady B?
 6. OF will beat BC. It'll be close, but OF will win. As far as Kountze and WOS...last I heard Kountze was supposed to be the best team in small school. So we shall see tomorrow ;)
 7. Football is a team sport. No one individual can be responsible for a team's success, I don't care how good he is. Not taking anything from #28, bcuz he is absolutely phenomenal, but he's not the best to play at this level. As the Asst Head Coach of the WOS Jr team, I can say that I've seen my fair share of awesome athletes play in the STJFL. And as good as #28 is, every yard he got yesterday, somebody blocked for him; every tackle he got in on, someone else helped him. Truth be told, it got to a point to where everyone else had to tackle bcuz he shyed away from the contact. To say that PNG White wouldn't be where they were bcuz of one kid is ludicrous!! Somebody had to coach them to get them to that point, and other kids had to block, help tackle, etc to help that team be successful. And in my honest opinion, as a coach from another organization, #28 doesn't need anybody to hype him up or brag on how good he is. His play speaks for itsself...
 8. Lumberton White and Vidor Black in Round 2?

 10. No need to be concerned....consider it tha quiet before tha storm;)
 11.
Vidor White 12 PNG White 0 Vidor Black 33 PNG Purple 14 WOS 28 Kountze 6
 12. Thanks for tha love, dogfather. And thank you to all teams in the STJFL for the love, compassion, and support that was shown last Saturday. On behalf of WOS, we truly appreciate it. Now as far as the pee wee power rankings go, we don't really care where we're ranked. Not saying that in a negative way, but it's like we tell our kids, you've still gotta line up and play ball. I like what I've seen so far from the other teams in this league. There is some tough competition out there and the road to the championship won't be easy. In my opinion, the best team in pee wee will be the team that's holding the superbowl trophy in the end:). Good luck to all this weekend    I don't know who bigtexn is ,but his comment is funny. Me the dogfather see's it like this Lum-whte has beat the more talked abt teams. To this point therfore placing them on top in my opinion. They are the team to beat along W/always WOS. Sorry abt ya'lls QB loss its a shame that we can go so young . These dogs over here will always have ya'll in our prayers. GO MUSTANGS
13. I've gotta go with Bam on this one. No disrespect to PNG Purple, bcuz they gave us a heck of a game last year, but Lumberton White is for real. Don't get me wrong, it should be a good game, but Lumberton White is just too strong. And speaking from experience ( last week), I don't see anybody else beating Nederland White. That's not saying anything bad at all about Vidor, but tht was a helluva team we faced last week....on both sides of the ball. But good luck to those 4 teams, and everybody else that's playing this weekend.
 14.
We have WAY more than #28, and we don't wanna talk about why who scored, cuz we had subs in when ya'll scored too. Let's just leave it to the boys on the field. It's gonna be the hardest hitting game of the year!!
Subs? Maybe so, but your safety was still in tha game. I know this bcuz we had to go out and block him in order to get our 2 TDs. But am I understanding it right that the subs were in for BOTH TDs? We did have ours in when y'all scored, but bottom line is they were scared to hit y'alls running back. Plain and simple. He is a phenomonal athelete, as is y'alls QB. But Saturday, there will be no excuses, no second chances. WE WILL BRING THE TROPHY HOME WHERE IT BELONGS!!!
 15.

Time is ticking Lumberton White!! Your 2nd place finish is only a few days away!!!
We were in second place last year... I know you finished third, but you'll find out Saturday that second just feels better. ;D
I'm picking WOS in a BLOWOUT!!!
 16.
I don't see how anybody seriously thinks WOS is going to blow us out. We have the #1 defense in the league and ya'll only scored 12 on us the first time we met. I know ya'll have gotten better, but so have we. I think this is going to be a close game and could go either way, but I'm going with my boys in white 21-14.
I've got 11 answers for y'alls offense. One kid will not beat my 24. Just won't happen that way. And as for #4....well, he had a MONSTER game against a damn good Lum White team. But he's not all we have. I'd be worried about numbers 1 thru 34. And as good as y'all are (congrats on making it to tha superbowl, by tha way), this game won't even be close. See y'all Saturday.

I think that they are all superb teams but of course the single wide offense is a style that is very hard to beat, so congrats to all of their coaches for learning that system and implementing it into their program. It is very hard to teach and understand but once you have it then you are the one to beat, Now I see how a lot of people are gunho on lumberton taking us down this weekend and that's cool because it is all in good fun and we are friends with their coaches, they are an excellent crew of guys but the comment aboout us not being as good as last year is a little off, now I didn't take it the wrong way, and I want you guys to understand that! Think about this though, technically we are 9-0 right? The same as last year, we have scored like 240 points and given up like 42 or something, which to me is not bad. We had "5" returners from THE SUPERBOWL CHAMPIONSHIP team last year  "5". I am so happy with this team, and proud of what they have accomplished so regardless of what happens we have done an amazing job with these kids. We had to pick up 25 kids straight from the flag division this year and this was a tuff job, but Previs, Mustang 11 and myself have loved every minute of it. At the end of the day though you all know that deep in your hearts that the road to a superbowl runs through WOS street and that our street is one like no other, so no matter how much you post or discuss you know that we are a mighty foe, regardless of how fast you are or who you have beat before us, if it were not so then we wouldn't be here every year! This game will be tough and a great one to watch, so if anyone has free time tomorrow, I would love to see the stands packed all day to support these kids and this league so that it can continue to grow and show these boys some discipline and help shape our future high school/ college players into the best in the area. GOD bless and see you all tomorrow!!! ;D ;D
Ice, You an Previs are some of the best. Congrats and hats off to you and your team. What every happens tomorrow happens. But both of our teams are making memories for life.. And I have made a couple of friends for life, and that's whats its all about. Good Luck And May GOD BLESS US ALL.
Well said, LR33. You and your coaching staff are some of the coolest guys I've ever been around. We respect and admire not just what y'all have done with your pee wee team, but the passion that you guys coach with. And that passion and dedication shows in the way your team plays on the field. It's nice that 2 teams with so much to gain and yet so much to lose can have so much respect for each other. Good luck tomorrow, and may tha best team win.
Ya'll are makin me sick! Why don't ya'll just find a room??? :) :) :) :) ;) ;) ;) ;)
I had thought about it, but I've already got reservations....FOR THA 5 STAR SUITE AT THA SUPERBOWL!!!! ;D

 19.
WOS  does have explosive speed ,, yet LUM (white) fields more speed this yr than in SB 08 ,, lets keep that in mind !! :) LUM did a great job adapting to the speed and run to the outside against NED (white) very similar to the run of WOS! But come on PREVIS run up the midde !! LOL    Although  these two teams have very different styles , they are actually very well matched !!!  This is gona be one heck of a game , very emotional on both side ,, definately buy the DVD !!!! Im going with  LUM (white) in a very close win 1 TD or less !!   PNG vs PNG  ,,   HEY purple is tough , I don't care what ya say , these boys are tough and have shown they can win and compete with anyone!!!  Very well coached team ,, PNG (purple)  over PNG (white) !!!                                      DISCLAIMER ---- I am not a coach I DO NOT SPEAK FOR  LUM (white) --------
I will agree that Lumberton White did a FANTASTIC job against Nederland's running attack. Very disciplined in what they do. And to blow tha game wide open in tha second half against a high caliber team was very impressive. But let's be real (and I'm not trash talking--too nervous 4 that ;)), NOBODY runs the ball like we do. And I mean NOBODY. However, we have yet to face a defense as good as Lum White. Their pursuit is second to none, and like I said before...very disciplined. On paper, it's tha highest scoring offense in Pee Wee vs tha stingiest defense in Pee Wee. On tha field (for those that don't know), it'll be tha GAME OF THA YEAR!! The PNG Purple/PNG White game will be a heck of a game with alot of HARD hitting going on! I'll be there to watch that one! Good Luck to all that are in tha Pee Wee Final Four! Too bad we all can't win it.
