Very good talent on both sides...Let's remember who and why we are all out there far."the kids"...btw the comments made about the coaches, I was the coach last year and we all know that its different then league ball in all stars there's a lot of pressure to win our go home so let not be so quick to judge our coaches they on both sides have done one H*LL of a job..so unless you've been there then you'll never understand the pressure...so let's be nice..FYI I know the coaches well three of them from T.C.and one of them called me right after the game and nothing but good things to say about Vidor and never once blamed it on any call our the umpires..all he could say is Vidor impressed him and if they meet up Friday then TC will need to bring their A game..so let's talk class now!!! Come on people why blame the officials it was not their fault Vidor lost... up with a minute left and you blow it come on.. What I don't understand is why on earth didn't the coach from Vidor call a time out when Central went a head because from what I saw Vidor could not handle the full court pressure all night surly he new this was going to happen and it did and besides calling a timeout to regroup he instead let them play on and we all no what happen next.... so why blame the officials maybe its the easy way out instead of blaming your own coach....great game by both teams..

PNG has harrington, who is good but they need a strong number two to compete in this district. Vidor has two good pitchers just dont know if they have they bats. LCM has a pitcher for just about every game and good bats to. With that said in my opinion, i think LCM/Vidor then png/ned LCM with what they are returning: Vidor has a chip on their shoulder will give LCM a run for the District if they stay healthy: PNG has traditions: Nederland also traditions but after losing a play in game @ HOME they will be out to prove last year was a off year and that they are better then they played last season. Will be a good season to watch some baseball good look to all teams.....

Vidor Pinto went to State 4 yrs ago via Spring Kleins Regionals and last year Vidor Pinto went to State, but,unfortunately, didn't win there. Can anyone tell me what a regional is for, because if you win your area tournament you go to state, so then who goes to regionals and are we the only Pinto and Shetland area that does not have a regional to go to. Remember its not about us(PARENTS) it's about the kids. So to not let our kids keep playing it's not fair to them. If I remember right at last nights game I did'nt see any Parents playing. So lets step back and remember it's about our kids and lets, let them play...Dont punish our kids(Golden Triangle Area) for being well coached..

your right about that... We should look at hosting a regional and not let Houston/Conroe in it. Don't you want the best in the state at the state tournament. If you cant beat the Golden Triangle then you (Houston/Conroe) don't deserve to be there. It's a shame that DIRECTORS from other areas can pick and choose who they will play. I bet you one thing the teams they've beat all will still be there. I only wish we could find another regional to be in..The Golden Triangle DESERVES to have a chance to have two teams at state.

Groves has 2 leagues,Pony which they call Groves American and Little League which is Groves National. Little League does not play in Pony tournaments and Pony does not play in Little Leagues tournaments.
