The Bobcats (1-0) fresh off their season opening win over the defending 10-2A D1 district champs travel up to Buna to take on the Cougars. This is Buna's season opener. Any thoughts?

I was very pleased with our defense last night. We gave up 2 big plays that I can remember, the punt return for a TD and the long TD run, but overall played very well and came up big when we needed to in the 4th and had that big interception to seal the win. Our offense started clicking a little bit in the 2nd half and that was good to see. Early on we looked pretty dismal. The one thing I was disappointed in was we didn't make one 2 point conversion attempt. I'm guessing we don't have a kicker as our kickoffs weren't that great. If we make our 2 point conversions it's a 32-21 game instead of 24-21. Overall, I was happy with our performance last night and if we get a little better in key areas we have a chance to be pretty good.

Pretty sure I just heard Stelly on KOGT say it was 55-0 BC with 9:00 left in the 3rd. New rule coming into play as Dishon apparently had a long TD but it was called back because he flipped into the endzone

That's good to hear! Figured the defense would have to pick us up until the offense came around but it looks like they have it down pretty well. Can't wait to see how we do against Vidor on Friday

This happened in Orangefield back in 2000 when Kevin Flanigan came in and changed the paw to the thundercat logo (montana state). It didn't sit too well with traditionalists and we switched back to the paw in 2002. But seriously........Ball just got a coach who has tons of recent success and even a state title under his belt in the last 10 years and they want to complain about the logo changing. Right now I would be more concerned with winning
