Here's a scenario....what if a 3A team plays and barely loses all their non-district games against 4A teams with winning records that are going to the playoffs and lose 2 district games against teams with 8 wins or more....This team ends up getting 3rd in district and has a losing record....Should they make the playoffs? ***I personally don't believe in "quality losses", but I believe a playing a tough schedule and being very competitive in all games speaks volumes.***

Deweyville and Stephenville. My dad was the AD and Head Football Coach at Deweyville from 1984-1990 and then we moved and I graduated from Stephenville. I only got to play 1 year of high school ball against HD, but I sure remember watching my older brothers have some battles against them.

Good Luck HJ.... Bucster....Are you serious, your coaches sometimes would make y'all stay after the fans left on friday night? I honestly thought that was just a myth that coaches would do that. Briles never made us do that, but you could write it in stone that we were gonna pay for it the next morning after film.

So do you think they could beat W-O-S, Celina, Liberty Hill, Cuero, etc......? Those are just a few 3A powerhouses across the state that came to mind. No disrespect intended for any other 3A schools I failed to mention.

When I was in school, we wore full pads only on Monday and Tuesday. Wednesday was helmets & shoulder pads and Thursday was strictly film sessions. Once district started we never wore full pads again.

Yes, please do go on because I still am not convinced. Alto would be spread to thin against teams with more numbers and athletes just as talented. Don't get me wrong, I think they proved last year that they had one of the most dominating teams in history...but there is a big difference between a powerhouse 1A team and a powerhouse 4A team.
