The Livingston win came down to the last inning again.  I don't know any details accept that with 2 outs in the bottom of the 7th, Boothe (C) tripled and Dunson (LF) had a walk off single to beat Westbrook.  This is the second game in a row with  Boothe/Dunson  providing the game winning hits.  I know Dunson also squeezed in a run (I think Boothe) earlier in the game, but it could have been another player on base.

Livingston jumped out to a 2-0 lead in the first two innings, Willis scored two in the middle innings to tie the game.  The game stayed tied going into the top of the 7th.  Lead off walk to start the 7th by A. Wilson followed by his stealing 2nd, next batter out.  Top of the order up with 1 out, man on second, Boothe (C) doubles to right center scoring Wilson.  Dunson (LF) doubles again to right center scoring Boothe making it 4-2.  Boothe pitches the final inning gets two quick K's then 2 BB and a weak single to left by Willis loads the bases.  Boothe K's the batter for out 3.  Fun game to watch.  Livingston was lead in pitching by 6 strong innings from A. Lantrip who allowed maybe 2 hits in 6 innings and about 3 BB ( I didn't keep a book).

Livingston scrimmaged Coldspring friday night and eeked out a win.  What should have been an easy win was made difficult by 10 walks allowed by Lion pitching.  Livingston looked like a young, inexperienced team.  In my opinion this is what the Lions will be fighting all year, consistency.  Sorry but I don't know the score, I just know that it was a close game.  If anyone knows the score please post.

Livingston will be the type of team that can beat another team on any given night, inconsistency will be there big issue.  They have a lot of good young players but almost zero experience.

Livingston beat Summer Creek 4-3 in their first scrimmage.  Livingston was down 3-1 late and had a 3 run 7th inning to get the victory.
