1. Kelly scored several times and Warren didn't score.  Great night for Kelly football, the players were pumped.
2. There goes that big bad Beaumont team playing by the rules again  ::)
3. I thought Central beat CO earlier in the year, or was that Groves that beat CO?
4. In my opinion, from what I have heard around town,  this is about one team that is always the first to make sure everyone else is following the rules, and then when they are the ones that don't follow the rules it is suddenly okay.
5. I am literally sick that he will be around for a few more years, that was one of the most poorly coached and played games I have ever seen.  I'm sick of his Chevy commercials, I'm sick of the interviews wearing leis before games, I'm sick of him blaming his poor job performance on the lack of fans in the stands.  After the 3rd quarter,  there wasn't hardly anyone left in the stands.  Oh wait, I should tell you how I really feel..... :-\
6.
Hartsfield's not looking so bad right about now...
He would not be doing any better at Kelly this year.  He had an opportunity to take a different job after inheriting a good Kelly team last year and had one good year there.  I wish him well.  However, surely he saw the writing on the wall with so many graduating seniors and lesser athletic classes coming up this year.  If he was at St.Anne this year, they wouldn't be doing any better either.
7.

I honestly see where UNLV is coming from to an extent. Let's take UTSA for example. UTSA punched New Mexico State in the face 35-14 today and are 5-0. -UTSA appeals to the community, Lamar doesn't. -UTSA knew from the start that they were going to play FBS football, Lamar designed itself for FCS. -UTSA is looking nowhere but up. Lamar is content with staying put. -UTSA is easily outrecruiting Lamar. UTSA started playing football a year after Lamar and I can bet that they would blow out the Cardinals. At the same time however, if Lamar isn't prepared for FBS, then there is no point of moving up.
UTSA's 5 opponents have a total of 2 wins..I dont see them winning another game this year....not saying LU doesnt stink ..just pointing that out also, i think LU is doing a good job in trying to get people to the stadium..promos, kid friendly, family friendly.... i think one major point UNLV is missing in his analysis of setex mentality...and the one i have the biggest problem with...ITS OUR HOMETOWN COLLEGE! support it! take off those 30 yr old letter jackets , those walmart maroon / orange Tshirts ..heck...i doubt most of the LU bashers have never even been to anything at LU
.  Good points.    My spouse who is a graduate of Texas A&M always wears a Lamar shirt to the games with me.  Those people that show up in other schools clothes are ridiculous.  Most of them are only the because they got free beer out in the parking lot from their employer's tailgating tent.
8. Where to even begin.......... I have had season tickets from day one.  Woodard needs to step it up and do his job better.  The kind of mistakes that happened in that game yesterday come from poor preparation.  The truth of the matter is this is SE Texas and people are only going to come out for a mediocre product for so long.  The weather was predicted to be bad, the concession food is horrid, the game was early.  Do the math.
9.
at some point, the "we are young" reason has to fly out the window and players need to start playing... I spent alot of time at Kelly and hate to see the success that was achieved over the past 7-8 years crumble.. People will be quick to throw the coaches under the bus.... but... "It is more about the Larry and Joe's than the X's and O's!"
. This is absolutely the truth and those players need to step up and play.  This has everything to do with a lot of them not putting in the effort.
10. I anticipate another season of me yelling in frustration from my season seats,  I hope his family wears their big kid panties to the games this year and doesn't get upset like last year.  ::)
11. There are definitely less kids coming out to play football at St. Anne, and All Saints doesn't even have football.  More and more kids playing baseball and soccer....year around.  It is true that a ton of players graduated last year, though.    My son is a freshman and there are 115 in his class and some good athletes, and the sophomore class is strong too.  If I am not mistaken, this years senior class is very small with only like 60 or 70 kids.    Give it a couple of years and hopefully Kelly will be back strong.
