3. Beasley did a great job handling the BH pitching staff.  Unlike many High School programs Beasley not the coach called all the pitches.  He is a great defense catcher who can hit.  Well deserved award!
 4. News just in:  Thames will joined by teammates Tyler Beasley and Sam Hallen in the Houston Area Baseball Coaches Association All-Star Game at University of Houston on June 18th.  Congrats to Coach Denny these Eagles
 5. Christian Thames was selected to the Texas High School Baseball Coaches Association (THSBCA) 4A-5A All Star Team.  He will be representing the BH Eagles proudly on June 15 at Dell Diamond in Round Rock Texas.
What is your point??... that was last year... Hearn did not play catcher last year as a freshman... Also Davenport was MVP last year... Does that mean he should have got it this year??? Davenport hit .456 this year in district and broke the strikeout record in the district with 104 K's (which was his from last year 89 K's).  And got 1st team pitcher this year.. Yea he was worthy of MVP again but did not get the votes.. No dought Thames had a better year..
Thames was a clear leader in the District:  Hit .560 and was 7-0 on the mound.
Dayton one bright light - Kicker - Dayton didn't even have the best kicker this year (statistically) - BH did.
just curious... can you post the punting and kicking stats that you have? 21. How about them 4th place BH Eagles with 7 first team and 9 second team.  Total 16 all districts picks.  WOW.  Sure would have been nice to have had a healthy QB vs. Dayton and Summer Creek.  BTW - SC benefitted from playing both BH & Dayton while they were at less then full strength.
