BS has been doing well and Also so you people kno Thursday tournament games will be the 1st full team games because for sure the catcher and prob one other starter are coming from basketball.... [/quote] Technically their #1 pitcher is the catcher (just wondering how much he gonna have to take the mound considering he wanting to go to college for catching). Yes indeed the Griffin kid that pitches is out for grades and won't be back until after Spring Break I believe... As for the outfielder issue I'm not sure I'd have to verify. Sad start considering Evadale only competition in district... Tough 1st district game since basketball kids first practice was yesterday. Hoping the ball up and bring it....

I'm happy SA is going to state. Simply bc that means Big Sandy was as good as thought..... I wish the best of luck to SA if they beat Triple A (if they go that far) then more power to them. I'd love for a southeast Texas team to bring it home. Good luck SA

And the kids parents good raising of course... That HD kid played terribly when Big Sandy played them. [/quote] Well, I can't speak for KETX, but remember if they can't get the sponsorship for these games, they just can't go off and do it at a whim and I imagine that Big Sandy is a little bit harder of a seel to potential sponsors than Lions' baseball or softball. [/quote] I understand all of that. My point was they committed to doing it and then just didnt show up. If they didnt have a so called sponsor to be able to do it then they should have never committed to broadcasting it in the first place. I am not complaining and glad BS was going to get some publicity since not even the POLK COUNTY ENTERPRISE- not the LIVINGSTON ENTERPRISE- ever does anything on them unless sent in or they being deep in the playoffs. Just was curious for the explanation to what happened.

He dug many drop third strikes to tag or chunk the batter out at 1st. Also a awesome throw down to catch the stealer so quick the kid was still standing and didn't get to slide. I'm telling ya that pitcher/catcher combo is awesome to watch- they work so well togethet. Now the BS boys better get the bats going next game! Good luck guys!
