1. Livin in glory days!  Great for the kids playing currently.
2. I also got sick to my stomach, but it was from watching how bad the team was last year.  I'm sure some former players have great memories of Coach.  What's your point, cause hes a great person then hes a great coach??  I can tell you that as this info circulated in Lumberton High yesterday, many (did not say all) of the football players were excited to here the news. Hmmm?
3. Greg Michel, Lumberton (Soph) Homerun 1
4. Sounds like someone just wants to know the rulz about HBP.  Don't be so paranoid, no one would think that a potential HBP would have changed the outcome in anyway.  The DOGS are better, so don't worry about it.
5. I think I would rather go to work than watch another year of that.
6. Anyone have the LCM Tourny Schedule
7.

I definitely saw a loyal, passionate fan base when Summer Creek played PNG.  I'm from the Northeast and my take on Texas HS football is it must be tremendous pressure on the kids playing the game.  I've never seen anything like the stadiums and crowds found here in the Lone Star State. I hate to see kids get cheated by poor coaching, but we need to keep this all in perspective too.  I'm taking my own advice here as well ...I've been a bit crazy in this forum. I gotta believe PNG will be back strong.  Your district was very strong this year so I'm sure that added to the frustration. Have a great Thanksgiving.
There was no poor coaching...Coach Faircloths first season with us in 2009 brought us an Undefeated season in district, went 2 rounds deep in Playoffs. His second year we went 3 rounds deep and was taken down by Manvel. 3rd year Dayton's kicker took us out the first round. We have had 3 good seasons with Faircloth...and many more to come.
I so love it when someone says it can't be bad coaching because the coach had some great years in the past.  My soph year we won 3 games.  Got a first time head coach my junior year.  Went 2 rounds into the playoffs.  Senior year semifinals.  Following year, another semifinal appearance.  3 great years for a first time head coach, must be great right.  Wrong, we arrived too two loaded classess.  The next year we won 2 games, and after 5 more years of losing we was gone.  Coaching is about getting the best you can with the kids you got.
8. People think if you are winning, you are good.  If you losing, your are bad.  Don't focus on the W's or L's.  Just see if the kid's are playing to there capability or not,  not the score.  Has nothing to do with size, athletic ability, offense you are running or enrollment.  Are the kids playing their best.  Do not care about wins.
9. I have been asking for several years why Lumberton youth football does well but fades as they get to High school.  Read lots of thoeries about the fact that Lumberton only has one jr high and such, whatever.  I here the sophmores are good because they were good in youth.  I also here the ninth grade is good, and even 8th grade.  Wait till they get to high school and watch them fade.
10. So if Saben was the coach, the results would be the same?  I can't say the coach is good or bad, but there are differences in coaches.  Even Nederland fans complain about there coach.
11. Since most of the coaches are new, I am guessing you mean head coach change.  It is easy to say no this year when you see the kids just can't match up with other teams individually.  What about past years when they could have been more competitive and weren't.  What about when they were better and did win.  Lots of ways your kids can play.  Have to coach them to thier best no matter.
12. U can't design plays where the quarterback drops back/rollsout and waits for the receivers route to develop, the line is not good enough to hold up that long.  The plays have to be designed around what the players can do with quick timing plays or throw it away.  The quarterback looks good on some plays and not on others, its all about what play is called.
13. The defense may not be average, but it doesn't help when your offense goes 3 and out over and over.....
14. These are the best I have seen.  No particular order. Ethan Franklin - Buna Chase Shugart - Bridge City Grayson Padgett - Hardin Jefferson Ty Walker -PNG Dalton Croft - Vidor Shane Selman - Westbrook Greg Michel - Lumberton
15. They are not playing kountz and HJ in 7-8-9th, they play a tough schedule.  Point of the question is maybe they get out coached at the High School level.
16. I went to state semi-finals running the wing-T in high school.  Based on the talent Lumberton has, it can work.  My question is, Why is Lumberton Youth Football very competitive but the closer the kids get to varsity they get less and less competitive against the same kids they have been playing for years?
17. Due to an injury, Greg Michel has been catching at Lumberton.  Does not look like a freshman, plus has worked his way to the cleanup spot.
