1. It was a good well played game, by both teams. Waldon threw the ball very well. Jannise started slow but worked into a groove.  I am disappointed in all the talk back and forth. Both programs are very solid. Keep playing, and let the outcome do the talking.
 2.
I honestly believe these boys can beat OF HF and WOS this year
I know it is a little cliche to say that anyone can be beat, but to stretch it and say that HJ will consistently beat these teams is an exaggeration in my opinion. ;D
 3.
Not sure if you get to many replies on this one.... Kinda like asking about Stolen Bases, so team want to keep this a secret as long as possible. But I can tell you that BC doesn't have a pitcher with more than 3 innings in a game thus far.
It doesn't surprise me that BC is pitching this way. They are usually pretty deep at all spots and this is just conservative play by a smart coach.

Thanks
I was at the H-F Buna game and I clocked both pitchers.  I had the Buna pitcher at Low 80's and HF at high 70's.  It was a close game and HF pulled it out.  However I was slightly disappointed with HF's performance, they were lacking the tenacity needed to put the game away early.  I believe the pitching at HF has steadily declined since the dominant "Phillip Lynch Era".
Wait, someone has been a dominant pitcher at HF before?
Yes, Phillip Lynch was as dominant as they come. I believe he still has the record for most strikeouts in a season at HF  ;)
Steadily declined? Johnson had a no no going through 6? Jeffcoat threw a no no Thursday Johnson had 8k's Jannise had 9 k's Tuesday against Lumberton and herring shut down cold springs Jeffcoat Jannise and herring all threw complete games n johnson could have had he not been in basketball and had some previous mound time all of these pitchers getting the W which is all that matters so how can you say it's declining
No need to get worked up Mr. Gamble, I agree, you guys played and pitched well. That still does not change the fact that the pitching has steadily declined. I was not singling out HF I was referring to pitching throughout setx
 6. Baseball in SETX is well underway and i'm curious to see if there are any pitchers that have dominated their games.  Any numbers on total strikeouts??

Im not taking anything from Buna's young gun but to make that adjustment in one night is tough to do. Give him a few weeks and he'll be rollin just like every other dominant 21_3A pitcher.  Buna needs to prepare for the upcoming year
Playoff run?? Lol. So was this his first time on the mound this year?
Im slightly confused as to what is funny?  Yes, this was his first time on the field at all, in my opinion he out pitched Buna's freshman the other night
 9. HF and Buna square off again tomorrow for a rematch and after reading on a previous thread, it appears this will be an intense game. There has been talk of Buna not being able to cut it in.3A, but they can prove people wrong tomorow. I might just make my way out to Hamshire for some classic grudge match baseball  ;)
 10.
Well everyone in 3a consider Buna the worst team next year and maybe when you pitch your worst pitcher against us we will luck out and win a game. Just maybe though
This is a possibility, but its still unlikely
 11. I agree with realtalk, there is a lot of talent in 21-3A but its spread amongst 2 squads in BC and Silsbee...20-4 has talent throughout the  entire district.

 13. 1. LCM 2. Nederland 3. Barbers Hill 4. PNG 5. Vidor* (4-A better watch out for SETX this year)
 14. I agree on 20 4 but I believe that although 21 3 is tough, its reputation in previous years builds up its image, it is not as tough as it has been and many people fail to. see this
 15. We all know that setx has baseball talent scattered throughout. But what district is that outstanding district that is hard to compete in no matter how talented the team?
 16. As usual lumberton hosts another successful tourny and I look forward to a great season in setx.
 17. Dayton must have a pretty solid team, the Tigers are a well developed program under a new coach that has the potential to do alot this year. Good Luck Tigers.
 18. I've seen Jannise of Hamshire throw in select tournaments and he has done very well. I would guess he is their ace, Buna should have their hands full.
