3.
Lots of banks get robbed everyday. Some get caught, some don't (right away). I assume the argument for innocence of the ones who got caught, is to say "What about those other bank robbers?" Blue, at some point in life, a man has to take responsibility for his own actions. It's called being a man. You never require that.
I only hope Perkins is reading this. Maybe he will feel sorry for me and pay a few bills I owe from a couple of years ago. ;)
Perkins was in the city about 90 minutes east of Houston hosting a camp that raises money for his foundation, which aims to help children learn life skills and drug awareness. you people taking up for him are a joke the dude had what, 3 days, to stay squeaky clean...run his camp, do a game and a banquet..and he blew it...keep outta trouble for 3 days??? nope, too hard...
Lets see. There are 365 days in a year minus 3 days...hmmm? This means he did 362 days with good behavior ;)
 8. His lawyer says differently! ;)

The banquet was great. The parents understood why he was a no-show (for the banquet).
And exactly what reason was given to the parents for Perkins no-showing the banquet?
Rest! ;)
I wonder if all of the parents still "understood" when they turned on the morning news the following day to find that Perkins was "resting" at a nightclub until 2 in the morning.
I understood ;D
 10.
Right now I watch most of my kids practices and no my kids are not starting. I watch so I can see their strengths and weaknesses so I know what they can work on to get on the field. Plus, I love watching football. I say nothing during practice to them even if they walk by and I say nothing to the coaches during practice. Not my place to interupt them. I even asked the coach if it was Ok for me to be there and got permission. What harm is it? I fully support my boys, their team, and their coach. IF they are never good enough to start so be it as long as they want to play I will be there to support them. That being said I DO have a problem with parents who walk up to talk to their kids during a practice (especially on the field). I think that is very disrespectful to the coaches.
I totally agree with you 100%

If a kids look up to Perkins that's great, but parents screw up as well. Stuff happens. Build a bridge and get over it. Stay out of Beaumont at night. It's gangsta!
Good advice for those parents that forked out big bucks for his camp.   ::)
Your comment makes no sense at all in relation to the previous comments ??? I'm sure those parents who 'forked over big bucks" had no complaints about the camp and the lessons, new friendships, etc.  that were made. ;)
My comment was referring to telling a paying parent to just get over it if they had a problem with his actions. Since you are sure no parents had a problem I guess it’s a nonissue. ::) If  I were a paying parent though I would have a problem.
My kids attended the camp. The banquet was great. 14. With only two high schools in Beaumont, you would expect the two schools to be serious contenders. I could be wrong but it seems like they weren't in the past.

Unless something has drastically changed (and it could have), they aren't moving.
If they do drop, perhaps Beaumont shouldn't have 3 high schools. I like the sound of that!  Go back to just having Central and West Brook, 2 5A schools.
I'd predict that the private school enrollment would increase once again, if there were to be two 5-A schools in Bmt. ;)

 18. I know parents and seen parents who make sure the coach see them on the side if their kid is not playing. Wearing their "why my kid not playing."
 19.
Maybe the parents just want to watch their kids....ever think about that?
That's why they have bleachers!
 20. Not so! I see more parents more involved with "little Johnny" and bonding with the coaches. Usually its because the kid lacks skill to get more playing time.
