    I compared MLC record from last season…they BLEW OUT everyone and went UNDEFEATED right up until 3rd round when they got PUNCHED in the mouth by 11-1 FBM!! So I feel strong that history will repeat itself except it’ll be the 11-1 PNG INDIANS who PUNCH THEM IN THE MOUTH!!

    FOR REAL! PayK12 is NOT user friendly and SUPER glitchy! I’m hoping PNG and Nederland will consider going to something else after the MCM ticket FIASCO cause there’s others that are WAY better!

    Well, you’re right that the game would still be played and maybe the MAJORITY of coaches don’t put much thought into accommodating the band, drill team, or fans when making decisions like this but that’s not how we roll at PNG!!

    We may have contacted Lamar about using their stadium before playoffs started to see if it was a option but I don’t think it was necessarily for this game since the Indianettes are flying back into Houston from NY Friday morning and going straight to the game so I’m sure we needed a stadium close to the airport as possible.

    No disrespect to LC cause I’m sure they’ll be our toughest test yet, however I agree the #1 ranking seems quite overrated. But same story last year with “big bad” FBM and Liberty Hill who were ranked above us right up until they WEREN’T….lol!

    True…I’m sure home side has sold many time. PNG was told by KATY ISD that last years Semi Final was the first time the ENTIRE stadium had sold out…we filled up our side and almost half of Liberty Hills plus overflow onto the hills…it was CRAZY…lol!

    Oh yeah, seems like I do recall hearing their coach left. Should be a good game! I’ve got family in Huntsville who are very involved with school district and athletic booster club…solid program, GREAT fan base and their Superintendent is a PNG grad so I’m definitely pulling for them to get the W!

    We beat LBJ in 2nd round last year. Can’t take them lightly cause they definitely have talent but their district is really weak so they weren’t used to being tested and it showed…very undisciplined too! I’m confident Huntsville can win this one!

    Credible sources did confirm it was the first sale out for that stadium. Liberty Hill brought a really good crowd too but it was probably 75% PNG fans…lol! Hopefully the Indian Nation Stadium Tour and pep rally’s at Buc-ee’s continues for several more weeks 😁

    Parking along Boston Ave near the windmill isn’t a terribly long walk , and there’s a small parking lot across the street at the Pavilion. Other than that it’s neighborhood side streets.

    I agree! We didn’t have cell phones and all that weak sauce “Twitter-chat-insta-book” stuff back then. Our pranks required lots of planning, creativity, stealth, and were executed with military style precision….good times! 😛

    I was out shopping and heard some Bulldogs in a panic saying…”Grab all the baby powder, flares, water hoses, a iPad to Google Indian rain dance, PRAY for another MONSOON and for the love of God, CALL UNCLE LARRY cause the TRIBE is COMING and we need ALL the HELP we can get!” 🤣🤗🤣

    Yeah, I think all that lady did by stopping it was create unfinished business so if she thought THAT was bad, just wait til FRIDAY NIGHT…MCM Band Wars gonna be LIT, figuratively speaking of course or maybe not 😜

    Didn’t go this year but from watching the live feed and what I heard from PNG Band parents…both Drumlines and students were chanting stuff back n forth at the end and a lady who I suppose works for NISD got on the mic, said “This is supposed to be a camaraderie NOT a BATTLE” and shut it down! Everyone was pretty confused cause for one it’s actually called MCM Drumline BATTLE and other than a bigger crowd and students being a little more rowdy…it was pretty much the same as last year and kids seemed to just be having fun …idk! I thought it looked pretty tame compared to the stuff we did back in the day….lol!

    A big problem with moving it is PNG Band gets the profits from visitor side concessions and pretty much the only time they actually make a substantial profit is when MCM is at home and possibly PA Memorial IF we play them preseason cause the Houston area schools MIGHT bring 300 fans COMBINED…..it’s SAD!

    Agreed…same at the Rez. We might luck out and have a full visitors side TWICE if we play PA Memorial pre-season and MCM Both were away this year so visitor side didn’t see much action…lol! I sure miss the crowds when we played our local schools.

    Well, the original plan included a new and bigger visitor side but ended up just refurbishing the exiting ones because unfortunately Hurricane Ike hit during the process and caused some damage, plus cost of materials went up so $ had to be used for repairs. Hate it didn’t work out but at least PNGISD cared enough to include building bigger visitor bleachers in the original plan….what about NISD?? 😝 But I am glad ya’ll cared about our bodily functions enough to build bigger restrooms 🤪

    Yeah, cause it IS 😝! No need to get into a “measuring” contest cause ours is small too…lol! I think that post was more of a PSA to let our fans know they gonna have to rough it so leave the big bags and “lazy boy” stadium seats at home!! 😂

    I can say starting with Faircloth, hiring a HC from outside the 409 has worked out quite well for PNG. The “good ole boy” thing tried to creep in again after Faircloth resigned but the decision to pay an outside consultant (Todd Dodge) to select the BEST candidate was $$ WELL spent! I’ve heard many districts are going that direction to minimize or eliminate “good ole boy” bias from the School Board.
