I love all the banter that people put on here. Means its that time again for the people to try and live through their old schools. Its fun. Everybody loves to get their words in. Heck, i enjoy pulling for my team and talking whatever trash I can, even if I know we are gonna get killed. But you gotta root for em in the good and bad. Thats what makes you a fan. Trying to throw history into makes no sense because none of these kids have anything to do with that. The Hornets are significantly down from the past few years. The Bobcats are looking to be headed in a great direction with an entirely new coaching staff and an offensive coordinator that once took a team to a state championship. They have more kids out this year than they have since they were a solid 2A so there are definitely a number of kids to choose from to make the team better. I think this friday the game will be a tough one. Hardin has the mental edge having won the past few years. But Daisetta is gonna be scrappy and give hardin all they want and put em on their heels before they know what hit em. If they endure that shock, they should be able to compose themselves to a win. However, being an ex-bobcat, i hope that hardin stays shocked and daisetta can redeem itself from the past few years of loss. Go bobcats!

Where and what time is the game?

The talk is all talk. A few years back an undefeated west hardin team drove into daisetta and left no longer undefeated. Tradition means nothing becuase its this years football team. They arent the same teams as they were back then, nor the same coaching staff. I think its gonna be alot tougher of a game than west hardin thinks. Its never easy to play in the swamp. On paper, West hardin should win running away with it. On the field though, it doesnt seem to work that way. It should be a great game, especially if daisetta doesnt fumble the game away as they tend to do in big games.

This game will be on Thursday the 27th. Its being televised. Thats the reason for it being played on thursday.

Twine brothers....they are good. The older brother, the running back is pretty good. He would be a solid starter that would get his share of carries on any other football team and he would be pretty productive. His little brother Justin, the QB is rediculous good. As a sophomore, putting up the numbers he does and making it look so easy while he does it. Hes the real deal. If he keeps improving, which from what he does now its hard to see how he could possible get better, he will go play at any division 1 in the country. He doesnt throw the ball the best in the world but he makes up for it when he takes off running.

I think its pretty comical when Deweyville is a 2A school and they think that beating a 1A school is something to be impressed with. And talking about not making the playoffs...i hate to say it but it looks like daisetta is gonna miss the playoffs....just like Deweyville is going to.
