  1. I just can't believe that some of you "analysts" cant give Coach Hartsfield any credit. The comment about the division being weak is a classic example. If Kelly would have had a bad year, people would be calling for the coaches head. Instead your coach has lead you to a level you havent been in for a while and some people cant even give him an apology. This thread is personal to me because Hartsfield is a close personal friend to me. I posted earlier on this topic as Shsucardinal. I worked for Clint a few years ago and I told you he would be great. Clint is a very good role model for the kids and he truly cares about his kids. Kelly got a good one and i hope they win it all.
  2. Earlier in the post you couldn't believe that a "junior high coach" was hired for the job. It's amazing how people change their perceptions about a person without knowing him.
  3. I agree as well. If the results would have been the same, Kelly would have been going to the playoffs before this year at least.
  4. It looks like you are singing another tune now. I think you atleast owe him a dinner or something ...
  5. Good luck Rebels. I remember my Freshman year when we played Vidor in the YMBL Tournament at Lamar. They were 5A at the time and we beat them by 10 or so. Take care of business.
  6. It looks like the "Junior High Coach" may have an idea of what he is doing. Regardless of how the year turns out, he has already accomplished more this year than Kelly has in a few years. Keep it up Dawgs.
  7. Hillister, It seems like you have asked this type of question before. You obviously are a person that wants to stir things up for your coach, and I don't understand why. If you don't like the direction the program is going, then get a teaching certificate, pay your dues as a coach, and then try to become the Head Coach at Warren. Give the guy some time. The program is not going to turn around over night. Looking at the score, it wasn't the coaching that was the problem. In my opinion, a coach's job is more than simple wins and losses. The Coach needs to be a person that instills discipline on the students, is a good role model for the students, and teaches the sport of football as a game of life.
  8. I wouldn't say they "are loaded". They are playing better than they have in the past. If you think this team is "loaded", you need to get outside of SE Texas and look around Houston, Dallas, San Antonio, or even West Texas. Give the Coach some time, Rome wasn't built in a day. Liberty obviously is a contender being undefeated at this present time. Good luck to both teams in the future.
