LAST 3 2010- Newton 40 - CC 6      at Newton 2009- Newton 40 - CC 21    at CC 2008- Newton 20 - CC 26    at Newton

CC beat Diboll 35-14 (diboll down this year) and Woodville 46-6 (allways having promblems especially early in the year) .. Newton beat Kville 46-19 with 8 fumbles and 4 of those lost (Kville down this year) .. Newton has the better Team , CC two victories show me nothing but they can beat weak teams handingly. Newton by 16 or more

Yea cause its sunday and looking at the post seems like kville expects to lose and vidor seems to think they allready won.

One matchup that I'm looking forward to this Season is Newton at Silsbee, The last decade these two schools have had some amazing matchups. Last time these to played in Silsbee was 09, Silsbee QB Jermery Johnson(Lamar) led a last second drive to the Newton 38yard line. Where Silsbee tried for a game winning field goaled with time running out , the kick  bouce off the left upright barely missing boucing in. Newton won 44-42.  If both teams win in there week 2 matchups , then this should be a very interesting game week 3      9/17/11 in Silsbee

Shorter(soph) is the next ford for Newton, After that a Jv(all freshman on JV this year) takes over and they haven't lost a single game since pee wee juniors, they beat k-ville jv 52-8 with two starting runningbacks out with injury also they have numbers & size on the JV...I SPY: Loaded for the next 4, WT is goin to look like a Genius. :)

No one should look at the Coldspring game, this is a new week.  Kville has a extra game in and  considering Newton has'nt yet played a game should balance things out a little. Don't forget Newton is 2a and turned in a enrollemnt of 297 this year, They don't have the numbers they had in the past.

Just in! 3 Starting Newton O-linemen are Probable For friday nights matchup, could change some things.

Southeast Ragball championships this weekend in Newton Texas at 4pm.  Invites have been sent to Invational earnies, Now its time to accept any team.... Get your team in ASAP ... First place get $1500 dollars cash a Championship Plac and T-shirt  2nd place gets $500 cash and t_shirt ,,, 3rd place gets t-shirt......
