  1. I've seen both teams. Although LC-M seems to be "turning the corner", I believe Neuman will have the Dogs ready to play. Bulldogs 24 Bears 14
  2. PN-G will use ball control in this one and win. I will say PN-G 20 L'ston 7
  3. PN-G will win this game. The Defense will throw a shutout. 31-0.....Bears might score some sympathy points in 2nd half
  4. May have trouble finding a ticket...but if you are wearing Purple , you might be able to sneak in
  5. I have been to all three PN-G preseason games. I can honestly say I have not seen an Indian team play with this much intensity in the last 5-7 years. If the level of intensity stays the same or escalates any, the Indians are gonna be a tough team to prepare for each and every week. This is a very well coached, organized team that plays with a lot of heart. LC-M will be a challenge , but my guess is the Indians will prevail 34-10.....
  6. I will go with: PN-G Central Livingston Lumberton Vidor Nederland LCM Ozen This is Only an opinion. It may change next week. (And the week after)
  7. Congrats on this tournament win. When and where is your next tournament. There is nothing like having a great group of kids from a small community do good. This group seems to be on a mission like the 02 team.
  8. The Kyle Chapman team was not shocked by the 02 PN team. They knew what they were against and was out for revenge. The team PN beat from East Cobb , Georgia , now they were totally shocked. When and where is this 13 yr. old tournament?
  9. Good Luck to this team. Sounds like they have the attitude to win some games. I believe in 2001 PN Pony 13 Yr olds beat Kyle Chapman in the State Championship. In 2002 they beat Kyle Chapman and a very good Pasadena Blue team to advance to Gulf Coast Regional in Baton Rouge. They won that tournament and advanced to the World Series in Washington, Pa.
  10. Overkill. My son and a couple of friends were recruited by UH about the same time as Little Jimmy. The warning signs were there!
  11. Played for Westmoreland @PA Austin in 70's. Great Coach as well as person. Hall of Fame Honor is well deserved!
  12. Give me a reason why Neuman would leave Nederland. Just don't see it happening. Nederland just seems to have the better athletes at this time. Hes got a great staff, and seems to have parents that let him do his job and not criticize him. I believe changes needed to be made at PN-G, but running MB out of coaching was wrong.
  13. This is PNG basketball we are talking about, right? Historically Indian basketball teams play hard and have a lot of heart, but just are outmatched man for man in the end. Coach Abel does a fine job with his players, and coaches the game like it should be coached. Maybe the players should respect the man that is in charge and enjoy their season for what it is worth.
  14. Dayton wins out . 6-1 Png loses to Dayton 6-1 Ned loses to Dayton 5-2 Lumberton finishes 5-2 with losses to Png and Nederland JMO
  15. I had heard rumors that he had considered Lamar. He decided on Lubbock Christian.
  16. While I like the Staff at LU, I have never really understood their recruiting. Maybe they just didn't want to compete with the big schools. Their recruiting skills are lacking for local talent.(IMO)
  17. Will that count as 1 of their 11.7 scholarships? Never have seen this kid play, maybe once. Looking forward to watching him in the future. Is anyone keeping up with the new recruiting rules for 2008? Very interesting.
  18. I think that most teams would throw their #3 or 4 pitcher at WB, and whatever happens, happens. Win games with their #1 and 2 guys and sacrifice a loss. Then again, how strong will WB be next year, after losing a bunch of key players?
  19. Maybe he has been offered something, but not satisfied with it. Recruiting is still going on, so good luck
