I understand OF is weak this year, but to call a team a creampuff that has beaten you more than you beat them is kind of dumb...

I am turning some old videos of Orangefield Football into some highlight films for my high school reunion, and I was wondering if anyone had a digital copy of the Orangefield fight song? Or does anyone know what the actual name of the music is? I have been looking and cannot seem to find it. Thanks to anyone that can help.

I am not advocating for any laws to be passed banning any speech lol, I am a libertarian so I think people should be able to do whatever they want. I was never offended, you are welcome, and I am all about saying whatever you want. I just think if the shoe were on the other foot you guys would feel differently, well enough of that I hope Barbers Hill gives them the Gut Crusher...

I have no problem with freedom of speech at all, I'm just saying making comments about racial stereotypes on a high school football board seems to be a bit out of place. I assure you I am not liberal, I believe in American Values so much I put my life on the line for them, I served multiple tours in Iraq and Afghanistan. I'm not even saying that its not funny, I am just saying that I am not sure that it has a place on a high school football board, and it seems a bit cowardice to make these comments about hispanics, when I am pretty sure no one would make the same comments about African Americans thats all. People can say whatever they want, and I am not personally offended by anything, but my little brother is hispanic and he plays football and reads this board and out of respect for him I would not make racially disparaging remarks. I'm not mad or anything just seemed weird to me.

I am all about having a good time, but some of the comments in this thread would be offensive to me if I were hispanic.

How many playoff appearances all time? I would guess OF has a few more than Vidor (just a guess) any idea where one could find this type of information? I agree that Vidor would get more listeners since it is a much bigger town.

I have been on this board for a long time, and I have to say that I have decided that Lumberton fans have to be the most delusional.

I just think people saw how Orangefield treated Coach Huck, and it made it an unattractive position.

Just to calrify I hope nothing but the best for coach Smalley, I hope they win every game they play. I am just saddened by how the Coach Huch thing was handled, and its just frustrating when you have a really good coach and a couple of parents/school board members run a good guy out of town. Good luck to coach Smalley, but be warned do not enforce any discipline or standards, and don't win too many games or they might run you out of town too...

You could not have paid me to apply, I might have started winning and then they would have ran me out of town...

Wish the Bobcats all the luck in the world, but as a former Bobcat it is very dissapointing to see the current state of OF. The whole Coach Huck situation saddens me, and is a prime example of why OF will have a hard time being an elite team, because as soon as athletics is "hard" here come the parents and the school board. Every year they have a Memorial to Coach Ed Peveto, he was VERY hard on his players, he would never be able to coach in Orangefield today. The school board would run him out of town for being to hard...
