Well, coaches and trainers it is time for the 14th Annual Golden Triangle Coaches and Trainers Clinic to be held January 26th and 27th at the Holiday Inn Park Central!  This will be the fourth year Coach Toby Foreman, Coach Ed Dyer, Coach Mark Foreman, have put this clinic on, and I am pleased with the steady increase in numbers that have attended.  There will be a few changes this year.  They have condensed the clinic to just Thursday and Friday, and actually added one speaker.  Coach Craig McGallion will lecture on linebackers and Lamar’s Defense, but also end his lecture with a few tips and questions regarding recruiting.  The Athletic Trainers will have a separate registration and fee this year and that brochure is attached.  If you are mailing in a payment for the Golden Triangle Coaches Clinic, the checks should be made payable to TOBY FOREMAN CLINICS and the address has changed to 3102 MEADOWS ST, TEXARKANA TX 75501.  If there are any questions please feel free to contact Coach Toby or Mark Foreman or Coach Dyer.  Attached are the registration forms for the Coaches Clinic and the Trainers Clinic as well as the Speaking Schedule for the Coaches Clinic: Coaches Clinic Registration: [img][Hidden Content]] [img][Hidden Content]] Coaches Clinic Speaking Schedule: [img][Hidden Content]] [img][Hidden Content]] Trainers Clinic Registration: [img][Hidden Content]] [img][Hidden Content]]

The Coldspring-Oakhurst Trojans continue their march toward the Class 3A, Division II State Championship as they take on the Wimberley Texans tonight in the Class 3A, Division II State Semifinals.  Bryan Barbay's Trojans, now 14-0 on the season, captured the Region III title with a 35-13 victory over West Orange-Stark last Friday.  Weldon Nelm's Texans, now 13-0 on the season, captured the Region IV crown with a 38-12 victory over Devine last Saturday. The winner of this game will face the winner of the Monahans/Argyle semifinal, which is being played tonight in Abilene, next Friday at 4:00 pm at Cowboy Stadium in Arlington for the Class 3A, Division II State Championship.
