[/quote] Well, if that front runner is David Martel as another post in this thread suggests, I'll answer whether he is a winner by the answer to this question: Since West Orange-Stark and Silsbee entered the 3A ranks, who is the only school to represent what is now 21-3A in the 3A playoffs aside from WO-S, Silsbee and Bridge City? The answer is David Martel's Hardin-Jefferson Hawks in 2004 and 2005.  I think he would do great in a school where football is a little higher up the food chain.

Due to the possible weather problems later this evening, the Hardin-Jefferson/Orangefield varsity game will be played at 4:30 p.m. with the junior varsity to follow.

I'm wondering if there will further inquiry into this situation?  Because by declaring that James was part of the 1600 M relay team and disqualifying the team (which to my understanding would have been the only grounds for disqualifying the realy team), they had to make the necessary finding that the "official" results were at the very least erroneous....and at the very most......
