I thought Neuman came from a school in the Houston area. He had previously been at TJ but dont recall him being at PNG. He left TJ after Mike Owens decided not to take another job (cant remember what school) and the sup gave him his job back. I think Owens had already resigned but thought better and decided to stay. Neuman was the third choice at Big Ned, worked out good for everyone, IMO.

Just wondering what schools will be there. The last meet at West Brook was huge and made for a really long day. Dont remember the last Ltown meet being as big as the Brooks.

Robert Johnson Jr. of Ned had a good meet. Total was 1310 in the 165 class, 1st place and only a soph. Josh Wright PNG 1st in 198 class, a man among boys. Not sure on his total but I think around 1600. Caleb Harmon PNG 1st in 181 class , not sure on total.

If PNG opens up the checkbook, Stump will seriously consider the job. Money talks.

Just curious if the new Executive AD has one? Anyone Know?

With all the PNG, LCM talk, this position seems to be forgotten. I believe the deadline to apply has passed. Will a list of applicants be made public? Any inside info? My gut says its Kenny Harrisons job to lose.

Westbrook Jan 17th, Lumberton Jan 31st, and The Brook again Feb 14th. I believe these dates are correct. You can check the schools websites to be sure.

Normally West Brook and Lumberton host meets, maybe you could check their websites for dates.

Nederland has a meet Jan 10th, not sure of any others. Nederland has a good soph to lookout for, Robert Johnson. Went to regionals last year as a Freshman. I think he will be a 165.

My cable is working but my lower channels continue to be fuzzy. Is anyone else having this problem in the Mid County area? This has been a problem for a while now and the only solution may be to go satellite. Everytime i call TW they say it will be fixed soon. Losing patience.

Wasnt RT the head coach/ad ? If so you now have 2 ad positions and still have to hire a head coach. RT is still under contract through 2010, if my math is correct. Makes sense financially. LOL!!!!!!!!!

Excellent post Roughrider, didnt buy my book nor was it handed to me. Earned it through many nights of schooling, and even more days of on the job training.

Actually ,the job was created for Thompson. It was posted last spring and then tabled when James Gamble applied. Cant see the board denying Gamble the job, that is if he really wants it. Wouldnt be suprised if RT walked away from all of it. The board meeting tomorrow night will be interesting. I smell change.

If true, this makes 3 that would truly be up for consideration. Thompson, Gamble and now Boutte. Big board meeting thursday Dec 18th. Stay tuned.

SFA85, I think you are correct. Being an administrator also allows the head coach to be rewarded financially. Such is the case with Neuman. Not sure what the Ned principal makes but, I dont think its as much as Neuman.

Looks like a reassignment for RT. This job was posted earlier in the year but disappeared. Its now been reposted. We shall see.
