If he feels like the runner has already crossed first base and has attempted to run to second (even just a step) then the runner is then officially headed to second. Then his plus 1 would be third.

0-2 the count. Runner on third trying to squeeze. Batter misses the bunt completely and the catcher misses it. Is this a case where the batter can run because of dropped strike three? Or since he attempted to bunt with two strikes and did not lay it in fair play, he is out?  I have not witnessed this or ever heard of it happening, just a thought I had while playing the other day. 

Does anybody have coaching stats on Coach Fortune? Or anything about him?

outside looking in.. I am just trying to get comments on the game. People like SFA annoy me on these threads. Constantly running your mouth when people are giving props to the team that just beat the heck out of them. that being said congrats buna on a big district win. def going to be interesting this year. hardin will continue to work and they will take care of their grades. good luck to all teams.

well i dont know too much about either team. but from what i have heard from fans and family of both teams. buna seems better prepared for this game and should take this one. but hornets will never lay down and have a shot in every game. so im calling a close high scoring game favoring the hornets.

its hard to watch all the games but from what i hear about each game..i think anahuac is also the front runner of the district.. 1) Anahuac 2) Hardin 3) EC 4) Buna 5) Kountze 6) Deweyville 7) Warren Like i said I dont get to watch all the games so this is my predictions based on what i hear.

He was a natural leader out there. Between him, marsh, and nolan, they had a pretty solid connection. i really wish we could see what he had to offer without them. i think he could of done just fine. he is just an athlete.

well you see bushpilot what had happened was EC called tramaine sweep right and nobody was there to take the snap??

well negate the fact that he may not be the best in the district he is still a very good athlete that deserves to play. so whether you think he is the best or not show a little sympathy maybe im not understanding correctly...what exactly is funny about this utfan06?

haha now yall are getting mad the stands aren't ready yet. just get the game moved to HD then. that way there is no excuse. HD seems to be talkin quite a bit this year with no solid quarterback...?? Hardin's offense is going to be very hard to stop..we already know this..Coach Jones has the defense ready. If i were either team I would do a little less talking and do a little more preparing haha.

yeah the coach can not aid the runner in anyway. i was at a little league game the other night and the kid hit a homerun. well as the kid was rounding third, the third base coach gave him a high-five and the opposing coach went ballistic. trying to take the kid's homerun away because he touched the coach. he was yelling that the coach cannot touch him blah blah blah haha. well he ended up getting tossed out of the game, and afterwards the umpire went and showed him in the rule book the part that says assist, not touch. haha

haha. mr aggie settle down. skipper is simply asking how much one player, that one player being your qb, affect your team! and could you do it without him? if he moved, failed, anything. lol

Tramaine actually started a few games this year. The safety in front of him got hurt. And the coach said that if they can get him to quit biting on play action so much he will be a very good safety.

i agree. hardin's facilities have not been the greatest, but they have never been able to pass anything through the school board because they have not had a good enough program. not after seeing a little improvement, hardin is able to get a little bit more money. hardin is also getting a few more businesses in town. movin on up!! haha. got a donut shop and a tannin place. watch out liberty!! lol

If my astros are in the World Series then its the World Series. But I love college sports. If college football had playoffs that would be my choice. But since it doesn't and the astros are in the playoffs very often either then i guess i should say march madness as well. 8)

Man Hardin needs some leadership.

That's horrible. I played against him and coach is right, he was one heck of a competitor. Prayers go out to the family and friends of Destin. Has anyone heard anything on the funeral services yet?

Hardin and Anahuac in my opinion are the two front runners for next year. Losing only 4 to graduation and back to back years in the playoffs for many of these youngsters will give them the edge. I say Villemez carries the Hornets to a district championship next year!

I agree with bleacher_bum. I think NW will beat Dangerfield but then lose to Newton in a close game. Congrats to Coach Haynes. He has really turned Hardin's program around!
