  1. Where can the list of players on the teams be found at ?
  2. Congrats to all, that's a pretty good list.
  3. Nederland's keeper was a beast last night.
  4. i know of about 10 or 15 kids that have played football all there life that REFUSE to play football for moody. i think there is potential for a better team, but they just dont want to play for him. im not sayin that there is enough talent to go to playoffs everyyear or anything, but they could be a better team then what they are. They don't have the dedication anyway then. It's not about "dedication" to the game. A coach can ruin someones love for the game, and if you don't realize that your blind. People that say "well if their kids really liked football they would play under moody winning season or not" But it's not about the game, it's not about losing, it's not about having a lack for love of the game, it's about the coach. When a coach picks his favorites, his "best" and treats them like they are superstars and then treats the rest of the kids like they're brainless mutants that deserve less even though they work just as hard, or in most cases harder than the favorites, it will ALWAYS lead to losing players and a very unsuccessful program. So for the dedication not being there, you really don't know. Why play the game, why risk injuries, for this kind of "playing" when you can play or do something better for yourself in another sport or in academics and actually get rewarded for what you do on some front or another. With Moody there, the only ones rewarded will be his super stars, not the average run of the mill player that will bust his hump to be his best.
  5. Hey, "The Truths" The "Baby Bears" Weren't the only thing different from last year, Although they were very good and did a lot for The Bears. The main ingredient missing from last year was the Bears Starting Keeper Ethan McKay. Also we added a new mid fielder/Defender Darrell Lawrence, who helped just as much as the "Baby Bears".
  6. Bear goal was by Seth Arteaga to bad one wasn't enough. Was a good game though both teams had a good chance to win that game. Oh well, I'm looking forward to next season when I should be able to play again. Darn Ligaments!
  7. What I'm wondering is, how did WO-S Score on Lumberton, not to be insulting to WO-S, it's just surprising because Lumberton's defense is pretty stout.
  8. If you're talking about LC-M... Silsbee Lumberton Ozen In that order.
  9. I heard final was... Central: 3 Vidor: 2
  10. as of 02/19 Lumberton- 30 Nederland- 25 Vidor- 22 LCM- 22 PNG- 19*I think* Central- 15
  11. I'm tired of this coming up every year it's the same old discussion, One side thinks "Oh no we shouldn't run the score up because we might hurt someone's feelings and make them quit" well wake up, this isn't rec ball it's high school which is very competitive. People who quit because their team got destroyed don't belong in the game anyway. If you really have a love for soccer then you will play through the bad times. Momentum is a very powerful thing, teams shouldn't have to stop their momentum or limit it just because one team is weaker. Running the score up in no way "kills" the game and if you believe it does you need to get a new outlook.
  12. After watching the LC-M/Vidor Game, I'm going to say Lumberton 5 Vidor 0 Lumberton has a well rounded team and we know they can finish.Yup, I'm going to say Lumberton with the shut out.
  13. LC-M's Varsity Played in the Lovejoy Tournament in Allen, they played three games. Their first game was against the Azle Hornets, After 80 minutes of play time both teams had 2 points on the board and tournament rules brought the game to a shoot out. The Bear's 5 shooters tied Azle's 5 shooters  with 2 goals each, so each team had to pick another shooter, where Azle scored and unfortunately the Bears did not. The second game was against the host team, the Lovejoy Leopards where the Bears showed great possesion and ball control and won 4-0. The third game was against a strong team in the Gainesville Leopards where Gainesville bested the Bears and won 3-0.
  14. looks as if you left out Nederland, Who has I think 7 ?? starting on Varsity, And Lumberton has At least 1 That i know of Starting on varsity too, Try Including all of the Teams in SETX or District 20-4a and you will get True Results.
  15. That would depend on how good of Team players they are and if they play different positions, if not their might be some conflicts.
  16. yalls second goal the second game was lucky
  17. a lot of close games, what about the PNG game?
  18. How was the LC-M Vs. PNG game ? who were the stand out players for LC-M ? And also the ones for PNG ? Before anyone posts I already heard the score, I'd like to know how the game was.
  19. I saw alot of Impressive stuff from some of the sophmores on the field at the Vidor/LCM Game from both teams, #4, Travis Greenway from Vidor is pretty good, good foot skills and a good view of the field... , but my expectations were set high from the talk here and he didn't look as hot as proclaimed, On the LC-M side #4, Bret Heil, Looks pretty good He played hard and didn't give up and has some good speed. Also #15 from LC-M, T.C. Scalfano, not the fastest kid out there but has good ball control and a good shot in the attacking 3rd on Direct kicks, with a great leg. These were the players that stood out to me.
  20. Was a Spectator, but the field looked to be in rough shape, Players from both teams were covered in mud and slipping all over the place, so I'd say it was Pretty muddy.
  21. Central - 5 LC-M - 2 From what I saw poorly Reffed game,2 Goalies from LC-M went out in the game with injuries after being Manhandled in their own 18, Obvious fouls, Not one penalty much less a card for either time. Truely Dissapointing when these boys are getting hurt and lack of officiating doesn't end it, Good luck to the Bears Keepers hope it isn't anyhting to serious.
