  1. Where can the list of players on the teams be found at ?
  2. Congrats to all, that's a pretty good list.
  3. Nederland's keeper was a beast last night.
  4. i know of about 10 or 15 kids that have played football all there life that REFUSE to play football for moody. i think there is potential for a better team, but they just dont want to play for him. im not sayin that there is enough talent to go to playoffs everyyear or anything, but they could be a better team then what they are. They don't have the dedication anyway then. It's not about "dedication" to the game. A coach can ruin someones love for the game, and if you don't realize that your blind. People that say "well if their kids really liked football they would play under moody winning season or not" But it's not about the game, it's not about losing, it's not about having a lack for love of the game, it's about the coach. When a coach picks his favorites, his "best" and treats them like they are superstars and then treats the rest of the kids like they're brainless mutants that deserve less even though they work just as hard, or in most cases harder than the favorites, it will ALWAYS lead to losing players and a very unsuccessful program. So for the dedication not being there, you really don't know. Why play the game, why risk injuries, for this kind of "playing" when you can play or do something better for yourself in another sport or in academics and actually get rewarded for what you do on some front or another. With Moody there, the only ones rewarded will be his super stars, not the average run of the mill player that will bust his hump to be his best.
  5. Hey, "The Truths" The "Baby Bears" Weren't the only thing different from last year, Although they were very good and did a lot for The Bears. The main ingredient missing from last year was the Bears Starting Keeper Ethan McKay. Also we added a new mid fielder/Defender Darrell Lawrence, who helped just as much as the "Baby Bears".
  6. Bear goal was by Seth Arteaga to bad one wasn't enough. Was a good game though both teams had a good chance to win that game. Oh well, I'm looking forward to next season when I should be able to play again. Darn Ligaments!
  7. What I'm wondering is, how did WO-S Score on Lumberton, not to be insulting to WO-S, it's just surprising because Lumberton's defense is pretty stout.
  8. If you're talking about LC-M... Silsbee Lumberton Ozen In that order.
  9. I heard final was... Central: 3 Vidor: 2
  10. as of 02/19 Lumberton- 30 Nederland- 25 Vidor- 22 LCM- 22 PNG- 19*I think* Central- 15
  11. I'm tired of this coming up every year it's the same old discussion, One side thinks "Oh no we shouldn't run the score up because we might hurt someone's feelings and make them quit" well wake up, this isn't rec ball it's high school which is very competitive. People who quit because their team got destroyed don't belong in the game anyway. If you really have a love for soccer then you will play through the bad times. Momentum is a very powerful thing, teams shouldn't have to stop their momentum or limit it just because one team is weaker. Running the score up in no way "kills" the game and if you believe it does you need to get a new outlook.
  12. After watching the LC-M/Vidor Game, I'm going to say Lumberton 5 Vidor 0 Lumberton has a well rounded team and we know they can finish.Yup, I'm going to say Lumberton with the shut out.
