HJ record vs classification not including district: 5A          0-0 4A          8-3 (Beat Calhoun twice, Greg-Port., Dayton, Lumberton, LCM, Corsicana, Kingsville, Lost to                              Nederland, Central and LCM) 3A          2-0 (Lufkin Hudson and Aransas Pass) 2A          8-0 (Beat NW, Kountze, Hitchcock, Anahuac, Luling, EC twice and Tatum) 1A          2-1 (Beat Evadale and Cayuga by 19, lost to Cayuga by 1) Private    2-0 (Kelly and Legacy) 11 games in 4A and 15 in 3A and lower.  And I can promise each and every team that HJ played in 3A or lower will make the playoffs with the exception of maybe Luling. Hardly and weak schedule. ::) ::) ::) ::)

Listen the district that Nederland is in is not that much better.  Nederland is the cream of the crop this year and Ozen (down year), Central, LCM and then 4 teams that are pathetic at best in Livingston, Vidor, PNG and Lumberton.  So don't talk about competition!!!!!

If LU does not go at least 3-1 it will be a major disappointment.........should be 4-0 against the schedule that they are playing.  But we are talking about LU......would not be surprised with 2-2 or even 1-3!!!!

Was not expecting this outcome...........really thought that the Bobcats would roll in this one. Must be something in the water in this entire district about getting up for big games and not getting up for teams that you should beat!!!!!

:D :D :D Still trying to figure things out in the district........lots of odd scores and teams winning and playing games closer than they should!!!!! Silsbee beats HJ by 8 and beats WO-S by 8 and then HJ pounded WO-S in Orange. HJ struggles to beat OF and then BC beats OF. OF beats HF by 8 and then Silsbee only beats HF by 8. Gotta love the competition of this district. Still got HJ, Silsbee and WO-S in the playoffs!!!!

HJ biggest lead was 57-25 with 5:49 left.........just listened to the broadcast!!!!!

Was shocked as I kept up with this score during my broadcast of the HJ/WOS game.............. What was the deal??? Did Silsbee struggle without Lane? Is Silsbee struggling without Coach T? Is HF really a playoff contender? Did Silsbee overlook the Longhorns? Is Silsbee not as good as they say and think they are??  Not being a jerk, just asking!!!  But sure I will be raked over the coals for this one? Nonetheless a WIN is a WIN!!!  Great job Horns and great job Tigers for the W!!!!

Gus has struggled all year shooting from behind the 3 point line..........16% to be exact!!!!!  Hoping he found his shot tonight, because it could open up the lane that much more for the Hawks!!!!
