Central, Lumberton and Nederland... Are going to have some good teams in the 4a district over all in the area KElly and WB Will show to be strong but kelly most likely will be the strongest team out of the area.... Hopefully they will get to play those teams I named early in the paragraph... Good Luck To Alll...... Hopefully everyone is have a great summer and getting a chance to play some soccer..... Nederland High boys played good in the six pack game against us old lamar guys.... Only losing by 2... Good Luck to them in the rest of the small tourney

Its not really a session its just to get out there and some fun.... We end about 7:00 and its every sunday ... Nothing to crazy just to get better and have some fun... There is a mexican league and a coed.... I play in the Mexican League it can rather tough at times but its real fun.... 9 grade between 12 our more than welcome to come...

There is a training session on Sundays at 5:30pm at the Meadows.... HIGH SCHOOL GUYS or OLDER ONLY... If anyone is interested in coming they are more than welcome... Mostly Westbrook, Kelly, Lumberton, Silsbee, few guys from the Houston Texans that I know and some Lamar guys... We just get together for a scrimmage or just knock the ball around (for fun).... I am always there... So if anyone is interested in just playing ... please come out... thanks joe fontana

maybe the coaches of this area should get together and put it together our selves.... then call the enterprise and tell them how it should be done... since they have so many soccer experts :

My players represent me and the school which I work at.... I do not want to cause bad relations to the teams that I enjoy playing...... He said his peace, but the forum is not to make people mad nor start bad blood between schools.... That would be stupid... School soccer is a privilege, not something that you do because you are bored... If you allow your players to act like that ... thats one thing since you are the quote unquote soccer God... I will allow you to treat people that way... For me and my house I do not allow "my players" to step over the line with others.... Thats not the way to act in any form are fashion ...Sports are about teaching guidelines to better young people in life. I might be young, but at least i have respect for this game and others around me. You once said you where twice my age ... well then act like it... do you get your joylies to watch teenagers argue, you have no business arguing with teenagers nor coaches... I am glad players speak there mind and i am Glad they have the leadership to be who they are. I do not want my players to be out of control in any stage in there life...... Maybe you need to read Vince Lamboridi's Book then you might understand a little more about coaching, sportsmanship and team play......

JCB you need to zip your mouth ... I believe in stating your idea and thoughts, but you are going overboard trying to defend yourself .... I think your an awesome guy and you know i am backing you before anyone else...if anyone called you a name on here i would go to bats for you.... but when you start up setting coaches you have gone to far.... These guys play us every year to help us... They can play any team in the district or in the area. He played us at Kelly on a very crappy field and had nothing bad to say ... You stated your thoughts leave it at that....... My statement stands "if lumberton had another shot at us, it would be a different story the second time around" .... Well it seems like all the teams around here have a strong showing next year... All these young and talented players coming back ... Central, Nederland, Lumberton, & Kelly .... I know the WB is loosing a lot but they always seem to pull a good showing in the setx showcase.... Well cannot wait to get back into the punch of all this soccer talk. Who has the best and who is the best... Its always so much fun...

i am going to have hand at Kelly.... I am putting my time into my other job... other than soccer - which i have found very hard haha (once soccer is in your blood, its hard to get out) .... I do not think i will be the head coach. I do not have the time to devote myself to the program like I have had in years past... I am still training at Select though......

I think yea yea is a great player... I think he is ranked up there with the best.... Maybe he needs to play his game and not worry so much about all the "stuff" that is said about him... Play like he use tooo when he more of a show boat and little dirty... That made him stand out from those players that had the same skill but did not do the little things in the game that counted... thats just my mind ... I wish i would have went to the game.... Congrats Lumberton.... Good luck in the playoffs ---- JCB you are a punk for not letting me know you where going .. i would have gone =) you will making that up next year ... when we start back up with them min thritys ....

thank you for thinking so high of me, But I do not plan on leaving Kelly totally (Yes I do coach the boys team). I am trying to focus on my career outside of soccer for the moment. Thanks for thinking that I would be a good replacement for the coach at lumberton. I have heard great things about her. The team sounds great as well. All the luck in the future and during the end of this season.

I will talk to Matt tonight and get all the real scoop ..... He has already started his training and is practicing with the team .. . Only once a month I think... But trains with second team more often.. I think if anyone is interested in trying out they should. They look for skilled players that are smart... not the best.... (i had the honor in talking to some off there coaches and thats just few things they told me) They have academy tryouts all the time ..... If you feel like you are a smart player and have very good passsing ability you should try. Because You Never Know What People Are Looking For.

I really do not know??? I have not seen them play since they played us and the WB. Which they played two great games agaisnt us both. I think he is doing the right thing by giving the younger guys the time to get better. The talent is there for sure. They have a couple of freshmen that any coach would take in a heart beat. (my tryouts are coming up soon) JUST KIDDING!!!! Next year and the year after they will become that power house we all know. Just reading comments on this forum it seems they don't have passion for the game nor to win. The younger guys might just not have it yet to bring out the passion for the whole team (which they will get with age). Take central they seem to have the passion and the heart to go along way. They seem to have something to prove to everyone. That kind of Want TOO and passion can go along way with little talent (which central has a lot of talent from what i have heard).

Thank you shark, We should have won district and i can promise you this - the first lose agaisnt Thomas we got rip off due to refs - I have it on video. I have even let some of my friends that are refs watch and could not believe some of the fouls that were given against us and not them. I do not like making excuses because they stink so we lost district far and square. On the flip side there are great players in this area no doubt, but if someone said that kelly has the 5 top players. I would agree. I am there coach why wouldnt i say there the best. I do not get to watch all the other talented guys in the area. I was able to watch some of the silsbee guys last night - the goalie and i think one of there fowards. They are talented players. Hoping i get to see more of there play in future. But like you said it is a forum. we can agree to disagree thats the fun of it. I understand that. I am not saying you dont know the game ethier. You have been around lot longer and more experinced in life than i am. I apologize if I have done anything to offend you or anyone else in that matter.

Nederland is always a power house and always will be there again. a lot of young talent over there can't wait to see them in a year are two. They still have clark which is a very talented player.

Well shark i am not saying I am the best coach. . . "i just said i would like to have that team" thats all and yea i think i could win with a team like that but who wouldn't- I think any coach would love to have that team - I am far from be being the best coach. I really dont like you talking about me either. I am 25 and you don't know anything about me. If your really going to comment about me make sure you do not talk down on me or my team (not saying that you did). I don't know you and I dont go talking about you on here. If you think your a good player/coach maybe you can come play me in a one on one game on a small sided field. If you beat me then you can talk about me. i had the talent pool. . But have you ever seen Ft worth Nolan play? I know I have a lot to learn!!! I am very young and humble coach. Coach Bledsoe gave me his number so i can ask him question and thoughts on the game. I have been lucky to be blessed with friends like that to give me advise. Also with coach smith. They have been a very big help in guiding me in the direction to take my team as a high school Coach. I am a select coach thats where i started not high school - its a very different game between the two. I very lucky to know guys like that to watch and learn from. Thats the kind of people that truely need to be honored because they are trying to strengthen a game that is on the B-List in America.
