Like I stated this is a weekly top 25 team ranking poll that should base rankings on if teams win or lose each week, not a poll on what teams are going to do when they get a pitcher back for future games or playoffs. When they win 9 in a row like they lost 9 in a row then they will be a deserving team to be ranked. What they have done the 1st 4 weeks is not deserving of a top 25 ranking over teams that actually won 4 times more games imo. Best of luck to Rusk in making the miraculous turn around from 3-9 to a state title.

Any weekly top 25 poll that keeps a team in its top 25 poll while going 0-9 for 3 weeks defeats the purpose of teams earning a ranking based on winning there games each week. It's all good though some polls are known for"giving" teams a ranking & not earning one.

If they were voting based on that the 1st 4 weeks of the season & a team is 3-9 they need to stop voting.

Lamar should win the Southwest division. Not another team in their WAC division to match their talent. Good chance they can win the WAC Conference, Grand Canyon & Dixie State will give them their toughest match ups.
