Each year, I keep track of season records and district standings on the Texas Prep Softball webpage. It's a huge job and I can't do it alone. I have asked the coaches again to help, but I can also use your help to help me fill in the blanks for schools where I can't reach the coach, or the coach will not help me. Anyone can type in a school's season and district standings on the "ENTRY PAGE" of each classification. From there, what is entered filters to the rest of the sheets and sorts by district and record, and an overall statewide season record. I've done this for several years, but now I am completely retired from education and I have notified the coaches that I'm going to start stepping away from all of this work for them so I can start enjoying my retirement. Step back rule for pitchers is not a UIL rule, but a NFHS rule. Go play a high school game in Louisiana, Michigan, etc., and they should all be called the same. I wish all of the associations used the same rule -- it would make it easier on the pitchers.
