forgot to mention in game 2 vs Warren the Lady Rebels exhibited that never give up never give in attitude. After being down 10-1 and 15-5 the Lady Rebels never gave up and fought back to win game 1 25-20 and go on to win the set to move to the championship game. One of the best comebacks in their Volleyball history. Congratulations ladies. The game is never over until the ----------------------------------------sings. I dont want to get any calls for being politically incorrect. You can figure it out............ Play with that attitude and you will go far this season.

I have a bracket and will post it tomorrow when all pool games are complete. I can tell you so far Woodville,Hull-Daisetta,WOS,Warren and Evadale are in the bracket for Saturday. Just dont know yet who will be playing who until Pool C finishes tomorrow.

Just so no one is confused Fridays JV game begins at 4:30 vs Good Samaritan. Varsity game will follow Buna vs Evadale.

Official schedule says Evadale vs Good Samaritan at Evadale JV game at 4:30 as to the technical question and I am not a real technical person, in volleyball, game and set are the same, 3games to 1 or 3sets to 1 are both correct however both are considered 1 match. Stock up on those M&Ms we are just getting started

Haleigh Oldbury(Evadale) and Sarah Woods(LCM) will play Thursday at the Burger Center in Austin in the TGCA All Star Volleyball game for the Blue Team to be coached by Vicki Castino. Congratulations Ladies you make us all proud. Game time is 4pm

They played in warren summer league, V,JV,and JH and all did well. Didnt have all players. Going to be big turnout for VB. Basketball did well also. Won the Texas State Qualifier in Chireno and played very good in Buna Summer League. They will all be ready to go in just a few weeks. Aug.3 First VB practice
