I do think one thing that could be playing in our favor is that we already have a media contract locally.  Also we are close enough to houston that the SBC can claim they got a Houston market team.  Whether that is BS or not I think the SBC would claim us as a Houston team.

Seriously, do you really know someone or are you just screwing with everyone.  We have had people come on the board with supposed knowledge and nothing happened.

I am surprised you are not on the SBC board UNLV.  I have to agree with you.  It is amazing the untruths people tell about LU on that board.  Not sure where all the hate comes from.

One of the posters said that LU left on bad terms from the SBC, I wonder if there is truth to that.

Here's what I know.  The Sun Belt league office is going to publicly deny contact with LU (or SHSU, for that matter).  Your people don't say shit even if their mouths are full.  One day I am going to get around to showing everyone why people do things this way - there's certainly a excellent reason for this - but that's for a boring time in the offseason. I bet it ends up being pretty good.  SHSU traveled well last time and we know the home crowd will be good.  I think somewhere between 14 and 16.

Not really sure where the hatred comes from.  They seem to think SHSU is somehow a top option for the SBC even though all the facts point the other way.  And a FBS study told them not to go.  I think it is left over resentment from when we left.
