The foul count at the game today was ridiculously high. At the half, Central had at least 16 fouls called against them. Silsbee was also in double bonus. The first half took about 75 minutes to complete.  The game might have been different if the kids had been allowed to play.

Why can't you gentlemen be positive about Central???  What in the hell does it matter is the coach stands or sits?  I have never heard an announcer comment about a team losing because the coach sat, stood or even jumped rope.  Central needs support, and you, the Central fans (yes, Soulja - you) should be supporting them, not ripping them down.

And the Nederland fans booing showed CLASS????  And if I remember correctly, the Nederland crowd in Nederland was CLASSY?  Puh-lease...

Actually, Central was better from the free-throw line than WB.  Not a lot, but had a better percentage.  Both could use improvement.  I thought the players looked good tonight, but they looked much better Friday night against Hamshire-Fannett.  Smith is definitely coming into his own as a leader on the team.

Why would they make someone who got fired as bb coach in Beaumont the principal at a 5A high school.  I say something is up, and Boutte has something to do with it.

And I totally agree with Soulja about the refs...

First, the Central coach did not run across the floor and shake his fist at the PNG side.  He has much more class than that.  Second, lets talk about the PNG coach (or trainer or whatever) that had to apologize to a Central player at the end of the game for elbowing him in the head.  He was escorted over by the Port Neches police.  Then we can talk about the rest of the coaching staff that trips the other teams as they run the baseline. This was the worst display of sportsmanship I have seen in a long time.  I don't think that Central played their best game, but at least they did it without whining and slamming balls around...

Ozen won by 3.  47-44, I think.
