I like you...

With PA-M going probably 8-0 in district or at the worst 7-1, Vidor 6-2 or possibly even 7-1 that would lock up 2 playoff spots. You are correct, Nederland, Central and the PN-G all could end up 5-3. Boy would that be something. Hey, if the Indians stay home and the Bulldogs and Jaguars get in, my Jaguars would go D2, something that they haven't done in many years... 1 game at a time...
-
Not really because Indians have another game before MCM with Ozen, only needing 1 more win to lock up a spot. If Central beats PN-G Friday night, they'll win out leaving Nederland out of the playoffs this year. If Central loses Friday night, i think they miss this year...

Central isn't 6-0 because of a lack of athletes and talent, Central isn't 6-0 because of other reasons. Tells how little you know about the program. Go back to the very 1st game of the year. Central was leading West Brook 21-12 with 8 minutes to go in the 3rd quarter. Well the Jags lost that game 33-21 and they shouldn't have. I won't point any fingers. The West Brook game is to us what the Nederland game is to you all. After losing a game that should have ended the streak, i think its had a negative affect and impact on this years squad and staff... Saying all that, Jags finally shake it off knowing their season is on the line and play their best 4 quarters Friday night...

Yep...

For those that maybe going to the subvarsity games that didn't see my post last week, there will only be a JV game tomorrow and it has been moved from Babe to the Butch @ 4:30...

They'll see 1st hand...

PA-M beat us this year as far as the game goes...there band doesn't even compare. We been doing that, they're new to it...
-
Disrespect...smh.

Yea, it's no secret the group of officials for Fridays game all work at Huntsman...
-
I'll take our 4 (#3 Foster, #8 Mitchell, #12 Moreaux & #28 Corbin) over those. The problem has been not having enough of a passing threat to keep defenses honest...
-
You know whats funny? He's gonna pull off the win Friday night, beat Livingston and Lee, make the playoffs for the 4th year in a row and send you Indians to D2...where we ALL know you all want to be...
-
Central goes player for player with PA-M...except at the most important position.

40? Ok...

Big bro, looking forward to seeing lil bro. I've heard some pretty good things about him. I will say this, i hope this coming Friday night he has his worst game of the year...

Soulja, at this point, in my opinion, it is better to not make the QB change. Stick with the Senior and just put him in the best situations possible to execute and avoid turnovers. I missed the Nederland game but he seems to be progressing. He has made a few throws the last couple of weeks that shows his potential and he has finally started keeping it a few times on the zone read for good yardage. He has been starting since early last year so the purple haze and Cherokee shouldn't get to him...

I agree, i stay till the end regardless if we are winning or losing. I mean anything can happen. Did you see how my Texans came back and beat the Colts after 3 miserable quarters? You never know...
-
Just a question. Does the following PN-G football have carryover into other sports, say basketball or track? I love the games at the Rez, I'll be there Friday...
-
Jags will be fine... Give the staff over at Ozen 4 years, they'll be towards the upper half. Especially if they drop next time in realignment...
-
You'll get to see them 1st hand in a couple more days...

I wasn't going to say much on this thread this week. Just was going to let the coaches and young men show up and take care of business. It's been a rough and frustrating year over hear in Jaguarland but through it all, with 3 games to go, they still have a chance to get into the playoffs. Foreman is 1-2 against the Indians; a 31-29 triple OT loss in 2013, a 29-22 OT win in 2014 and a 21-7 loss last year. Whoever wins, it won't be a blow out. The young men over here have too much pride for that. Plus they know that their season isn't over. Legit group of kids on D. Legit group of kids on offense. The D is just not always put in the best positions to win. Lumberton, Vidor and probably Livingston style of offenses will gain yards and score points against the Jaguars. It's just the way it is right now. Because of athleticism, in my opinion, the Jaguars play better against spread style of offenses. The coaches will have the D ready this week... Injuries, we are only missing 1 key component, our best DB who suffered a break in the Ozen game but that won't be an excuse.

One game at a time for us. A win here would all but guarantee us a playoff spot with Livingston and Lee left...

I'll admit, the way the Jags couldn't stop #12 of the Raiders and on the road with not much time left, i would have went for the win too...
