Thats tough to even imagine.. i mean 1 score in 13 games, UNREAL and about the oppenents played by CS..you cant pick your district and not our fault Kville and others made the nondistrict schedule look weak.. JUST GOTTA TAKE CARE OF THE PEOPLE YOU PLAY and THEY HAVE DONE THAT
I'm you from Coldsprings?
You are right, Kirbyville wasnt a match up at all for coldsprings this year, Guess yall shouldnt even think about playoffs. Yall tried to make a run last year and lost it to Coldspring, Yall lost it all to them Coach included. Get off of it Kvillcats
WOW :o I guess you forgot they beat us last year ::)
 3.

Last year was last year boys, lets not put the cart in front of the horse, lets take'm one team at a time, after this week it's lose and go home, It doesn't matter what happened last week or last year, the team needs to stay focused ......we can worry about next week after tomorrow night.
Couldn't have said it better!
 4.
lets take a look back in years.west orange stark had the BEST (D) in 3A in the state and a prutty fair (O) to go along with that but what did it get them i belive thay went out in the 3rd round not sure somewhere around there
Sounds familiar.  Balanced offenses and teams that play like machines with minimal penalties typically win the whole enchilada...
 5.
I'll take Jasper by 2 td's
I'll agree with that

We will take it for whats its worh and go with it. Coldspring will make another great run at it this year and will make it. Hope to see you in Dallas this year.
It is not beyond the realm of possibility for Coldspring to Lose...Every thing that has a beginning also has and end...I would like to see Coldspring win State...But it's not automatic...JMO
Ditto!  Coldspring should go deep because of their defense.  However, there is a reoccurring trend...Penalties.
 7.

I moved from clyde texas to coldsrpings (5th grade),stayed for about 6 weeks, moved back home to dayton, class of 10. Yes, around 2003, 2004, and 2005 we had the worst coach ever Coach Limas, that could not buy a win, but was a good bull%$@er to the school board. The best running back I ever saw sat the bench his senior year (Cat Daddy- T. Lagway) because Coach Limas changed the backfield, for a different running back that was bigger but slower. Lagway got his 2400 yards (in two years, Sophmore & Junior year) with no blocking and was not as big as Gilbert. You have to have a good supportive community, talented kids, good coaching and assistants that believe in a proven system to have success. Thats what we have now.

Reminds me of the teams during the 80's....Limas wasn't the only one  Coldspring will win this game.  Hopefully they can begin to minimize penalties.

 9.
Being that not many Huffman fans post on this site, you should come on over and THANK them in person. In approximately 8 hours, we will be crowning the Huffman Falcons AT THE PALACE district champions! Stick around, it will be quite the celebration!
So how was the celebration last night, Bambam?  ;D ;D ;D Sorry, I couldn't resist.
 10. Great Game!!! :) Aside from the field goal, Coldspring's defense essentially shut-out Huffman on their own turf!
 11. Don't let the sharks see ya bleeding, girls! ;D
 12.

Coldspring has too many offensive tools and the quick defense for Huffman to win. Coldspring - 48 Huffman - 28
this defense will not give up no where near 28 points
DITTO!!!
 13.
This is true ...... I cant remember Huffman Whining much either  ;D
Thats only if you exclude the Shephard game, right? ;D ;D ;D
 14.
Huffman will definitely need to pick it up or they will be embarassed by Coldsprings. For a team to compete with CS they should beat Shepherd by at least 50.
Obviously Huffman wasn't even close to beating Shepherd by 50.  Considering all the "hot air" I sure hope it is a challenging game for Coldspring, but I suspect that  Saturday the 29th we'll be hearing a different story from the Falcon crowd. ;)
 15.
I would love to see the kid play.. I still think Sherman Gilbert should get more love.. Hes averaging over 13 yards per carry, can catch the ball out of the backfield or line him up wide, and he also is a return specialist.. If he had more carries and didnt split them with another back, HIS NUMBERS WOULD BE SCARY.. i mean 100 carries for over 1300 yards and 30 total td's.. GO TROJANS
Considering CS is the smallest school in 22-3a, they are blessed with one hell of a coaching staff.  My bet is Barbay is saving Gilbert for the play-off run.  Bottomline, their o-line makes anyone of those backs shine, but the credit goes to the coaching staff, considering their o-line replaced last years o-line entirely ;)
 16. Hopefully it'll be a good enough game to make sense out of all this "Turd Talk"  ;D
 17. What about Sherman Gilbert!
 18. Kudos to Gilbert & the Trojans! :)
