I have he brackets from the facebook page they are too big to post. Basically, Friday bracket play is: gold bracket A1vB2 7pm, C1vD2 2:30pm, D1vC2 4pm B1vA2 5:30pm Silver bracket is same only with 3 and 4 seeds.

HJ defeated Aransas Pass 75-43. The Hawks advance to the semi-finals tomorrow at 12:30 in a rematch with New Braunfels. HJ moves to 7-2 on the year.

When we played them, I didn't notice anyone making a significant impact at WR. Now, in the second half they changed a couple positions around and just ran the ball with their athletes. Mostly designed QB keepers. I'm not sure what #25 Taylor's position is, but all he did was run the ball in the second half. Almost no passing.

I think giddings models liberty's game against WOS in this one. Very limited passing. They try to limit WOS scoring by controlling the clock. Of course it won't work, but that's the only strategy that makes it looks like a respectable score. Wos 49 giddings 10

Good season Panthers.

They did not use him at QB against us in the first half. He scored on their first play after halftime though. He makes a few more cuts than Brown, at least more than what I saw brown do against HJ. Until they put Taylor at QB I didn't really notice how good he was.

Liberty should be able to handle them. Watch out for #25, I think his name is Taylor. He is like Brown but maybe a little more agile. He was their offense in the second half against us. He came in as QB and just had designed runs for about 80% of their second half plays. Go get them Panthers.

Great season Hawks, players and coaches. You gave it all you had and left everything on the field, every game...many were surprised and underestimated you, but you made believers out of them. Now, let's make another run with the round ball!
