  1. you are correct it's hard to play as an New AP. Discipline and winning are not easy. We have all seen the old AP system, Make sure the talent is happy and let them play by their rules. Scream about District Championships and try selling us your Boobie Miles. Hes gone by week 2 and you finish just above Warren in the district. I've seen your resume and I've seen Neeces. Congrats to the new AP.
  2. I'm pretty sure you said they would be lucky to get one of the 3?
  3. no it happened right in front of me. He took a full speed legal shoulder pad to the stomach. I was impressed he came back out. tough kid!
  4. great points. people dont realize that most of Newtons seniors and big 3 sat alot last year. They had alot of 1st Q only games. This group playing now got alot of experience last year. They started two a days mid season form. Silsbee always puts it together. I'm glad Newton gets them early.
  5. according to some parents at the CC meet this morning it's looking better. He got some movement back in his legs last night.
  6. that's funny! but the reality is what left town on the buses was coaching!
  7. Newton has two corners that's are true cover corners. They might give a few but not many. Pull the safety up to cover middle and slants, let JS and T seal the ends and dare them to run up the middle. Silsbee had no answer.
  8. no one of thier players are being flown out with serious neck injury. Landing on field now
  9. game called in 3rd. Landing life flight for kville player

  14. not sure how you win a scrimmage but did not have more scores.
  15. ok Mike maybe a little homer in that opinion but no doubt hes had success as a play caller at both programs. Anahuac will be fun to watch and see if it grows.
  16. anyone go that might have reviews or comments
  17. you misundersttod. I was saying I'm not surprised the tempo and play calling are getting better. You now have the best play calling in 3a.
  18. Control part of scrimmage was 0-0 with first groups. Live half: Anahuac 17 HJ 7
  19. game over. I'm locking this and if an admin over rules then ok.
  20. they lost alot, not just talent but leadership. Will be interesting to see how the younger group steps up and develops.
