I remember in 2001, Central and Ozen had a doubleheader playoff game in Aldine.  There were Central fans that stayed along with the Ozen fans that begin to flow in as their game that started.  There was enough room, even though Aldine's Thorn Stadium only holds about 10,000...

Correction.  There are only 6 teams in 17-4a, Manor's district.  On a side note, 23-4a, Bay City and Lamar Consolidated's district, there are only 5 teams in the district, meaning only one team is left out of the playoffs.  

That is only a 5 team district.  The top 4 teams make it while only one team is left out...

The pressure is definately on Hightower to win just as everyone else in these playoffs.  You never know, a few miscues and Hightower.  Also they have to get past a 'Salty' Galveston Ball team that have made these playoffs with good defense from Coach Suggs...

Not neccessary, though.  Last year's Jag team finished 3rd in the district with losses to Livingston and Lumberton which were co-district champs.  We outlasted them in the playoffs, which our two top ranked teams got bounced in the first round.  Even our 4th place team Nederland got to the second round...

My question is if Vidor's 3 headed monster is healthy.  Last I heard was that Pittman is banged up, Tate had a broken hand, and Peevey is banged up.  I don't know if this is true, but Vidor will need these 3 horses to compete at Dayton's level.  If any of these kids are hurt, Dayton by 2 scores.  If they are healthy, Vidor by 10.
