Yea, we'll make the playoffs, but the question is will this be the year we beat Ozen? Not likely. Our best chance was last year, IMO.

This wasnt' being said when Ozen and Central (even Nederlan) was beating up on the Brook. The way I see it, if they play, they play. If they dont, oh well.

Like I said in this thread 18 pages ago.....it's not disrespectful. If a team came to Babe doing that, I'll just say that we need to come out on kickoff and take the wind out of their sails. Why is this thread carrying on so far. If WO-S wants to do it, then let them. Shut them up when it counts...on the field by knocking their helmet off on every hit and mowing them in the ground when you have the ball.

They start clapping before they even form the 'I' to start playing the fight song. At Central, our band dosn't play in the 3rd quarter. So when we score in the third, we have to do the drum roll against the bleachers with our feet and pound them with our fists. lol.

It helped a little that the defense started gettin tired and gave up in the end after the ball hit the ground.

This is realy odd. Memorial did beat Ozen last year. But what's wierd is that Memorial got bounced the first round and Ozen went all the way to state. How did that happen?

I havnt seen us practice yet. But I do know we had a pretty good JV team. We had a 6' 6" big man that will be a beast this year. Gully will be the go to guy on offense. We'll have great guard play. I have to see our first game to make an honest assestment.

I dont' remember because I was in middle school then. I think I did go to that game, being that the Beaumont bowl was 'all that' and some. I'm not trying to be sarcastic, I realy don't remember.

Prompt fashion... Head to the sidelines before the home team comes out. If the home team is out first, just dont' do it or wait untill they head to the sidelines.

If they jump up and down onthe logo, just be on your sidelines in a prompt fashion. I've seen these type celebrations before. Trinity HS comes out with the traditional 'Haka' in the end zone. But they do it then go to the huddle.

No big deal. It turns into disrespect, however, when the team is still jumping up and down when the home team comes out and wants to jump up and down on their logo. During basketball season when Kendrick Perkins was still at Ozen, Ozen did it at midcourt and stayed there when the Jags came out. A scuffle ensued. Quite understandable.

Man, come on guys. Let's be realistic here. Just take a moment to look at last year. Now anyone who has followed HS hoops for at least 5 years will know that Ozen is head and shoulders above all the other teams in this district. They have the talent and the coaching on a totaly different level. Last year, IMO, was their most nontalented team. They went on to win district again under the best coaching effort I've ever seen by Boutte, and went on to state. Then that team were young guns with only 1 senior starting. That team comes back with that state run experience. With that being said.... 1. Ozen (by a landslide) 2. Central (we have the athletes but Coaches always fold to Ozen's for some strange reason) 3. Dayton ( They have athletes but last years team didnt' show me any jumpshooters) 4. Nederland (They have Vidor's old coach who a few years ago beat Ozen 3 times in 1 year) 5. Vidor (Those kids work hard in the offseason to get the fundimentals down. They will win some games) 6. LC-M ( a few years ago, they made the playoffs with a dominant big man down low. They don't have that this year, and will struggle to keep their heads above water) 7. Lumberton ( Just traditionaly not proven to be able to compete with anyone in this district.) 8. PN-G (stick to football)

I wonder is it active members? I believe a lot of members have been dormant for several months. Does that count. This site is great. It just let's you know that your not the only die hard fan in this area. Helps everyone respect their Golden Triangle neighbors. You soon learn that their not as different as you once thought. My No. 1 site, hands down.

My thoughts exacly. You played the Broncos tough the whole game and there was some things that didnt' go well, but you give up a TD with less than a min left? There was some give up on the field. Unexcusable. >
