2.
Lol well let's see.... can't remember lol but you think Evadale could beat lumberton?
Evadale could beat Lumberton.
 3.
closer game than i thought it would be
Agreed
 4. Sabine didn't look too bad. It is still there first game and beginning of the season. They are in dire need of a post player or atleast a decent one. Defense was not good at all. They need to be alot more aggressive being that there isn't anybody with size down there.
 5. If the new Sabine line up can mesh than i see them winning by a good margin. If it is too early and they haven't, then CCS in a close one.
 6. PAM, graduated a big front four last year, this is a rebuilding year.
 7.
if west hardin can find a ball handler the could be decent
Justin Poor?
 8.

Why do they even meet.
Because they can.
Sounds good enough for me.
 9. I guarantee you all that Sabine's varsity (personnel) will not surprise anybody. It will be the same kids from last year and if there are any new students they will be on the junior varsity team.
 10.
True the more you talk the more I realize how little you know about college basketball or basketball in general.First of all the McGallion kid has a very good skill set and would be able to play at the 3a level. That being said he has a few things that would hurt him playing any college ball, the biggest being size. You seem to think Jr colleges are for less talented players which is not true, it usually is for players who have issues becoming eligible or various parts of their game they need to work on.There were some very good high school players in the area last year and not many were mid major players much less D1 prospects. If you have players transferring for exposure in their senior season they probably aren't gonna be playing college ball.
Agreed about the McGallion kid, some of the 4A schools around here McGallion could have played for, Nederlands PG was not that good last year and Chase is just as good as Scott from PNG. He could have also played for Vidor, Lumberton, BC, HF, and so on.
 11.
Yea just think about it 7 kids from each school trying to make 1 team ??That is why I cant understand why PM is not a power house in there Dist??
They had a great team last year. They played there worst game last year in the first round.
 12. SFA, i didn't know that they were a part of the merge, now a middle school.
 13.
There are not 100 homes left in SP. SO the rules for any kid living in the Dist. was changed after the storm. That is the difference in transfers and kids that live in the dist. And it is not a misconception about a kid that could not make the starting team in PM playing a big part in a smaller school. Dont forget that there were 3 very good schools that were turned into one. So there are some real good players not getting playing time in PA. And with the open door in SP why would a kid not take that chance?? I am not saying anything is wrong with it thats just the case. But I know that there are a lot of coaches that dont like it. ;)
Three schools????? Lincoln and TJ and ..........
 14. As for Sabine, they will compete for second.
 15.
TrueBlue your interpretation of UIL rules never ceases to amaze me. Most schools in Southeast Texas allow transfers. Some charge a fee for kids that don't live in the district. Here's where you continue to miss the boat, the kids can not be cleared to play any sport unless they live in the district or they are released by their old school. They can file a waiver with the UIL if they aren't released but very few of these are granted. One more misconception is that kids that can't play at Memorial can become stars at a small school. If a kid can play, he can play ,if he can't he will be average no matter where he goes.Sabine Pass will face the same challenges this year as any school that graduates 3 or 4 of their best players and that is replacing points.I think they will be in the same district as they have been in and I don't see them beating Evadale or BS this year. They could play HD and WH pretty close for 3rd.JMO
Absolutely right, all the post about transfers is just ridiculous. It doesn't matter where you come from, if you are enrolled then you can play. It is always these people who grow up in small schools and communities that complain about TRANSFERS. For those who grow up and stay in a small school/community, goodluck in the real world. P.S. The storm had nothing to do with the rule change
