CONGRATS to the Bulldogs!!  What a great comeback...you guys deserve to be in the playoffs right along with us!  Now, let's show them 19-4A jokers what 20-4A is all about!!  ;D

Great job by both teams tonight!  Aside from a few knuckleheads on here...we all knew it would be a battle for the ages!  Congrats to both teams, now let's show the rest of the state that 20-4A is for real!!

[/quote] Coach Faircloth is very involved at every level.  My son plays flag football and although I didn't see him at any of the games, I heard that he held a clinic in the Summer so he could teach his system to all the coaches, that way by the time the kids get to the high school level, they know the plays, just have to fine tune everything...pretty cool!

Ok, I really do not agree with Thunderlicious.  Any team on any given night can lose...it does not mean that they suck all of the sudden!  Central is a great team, and had an off night at Livingston, hell, we almost lost to LC-M!  That was a wake up call, and we had MUCH better games after that...why?...because we learned from our mistakes, just like Central most likely learned a valuable lesson from their mistakes against Livingston!  I know Central will come to play, and so will we, it will come down to who plays harder and eliminates the mistakes.  It will all be decided Fri night, so bring your "A" game Central, I know we will  ;D!

This has to be the most rediculous thread ever!!  You know what..I love it how when the Indians are down, like last year, ya don't see much trash talkin' out of anyone.  So, what's the deal this year?  I know...the Indians are BACK...and it bugs the crap out of ya'll!  So, keep on talkin' and we'll keep winning!

Ok, I gotta go with Brandon Faircloth, but if he doesn't get it then I also agree Coach Neuman would be a good choice.  Sometimes it's not about how many games you win, but the adversity you overcome to get there, and he has done a FABULOUS job with the hand he was delt!

I think this will be a battle for the ages!  I know Central is NOT gonna lay down and hand us the game, and I hope they don't!  Our INDIANS love a challenge and this game should be a good one.  I have no doubt my Indians will take this one, but I really don't think it will be a blowout! [/quote] Thanks for the kind words!  We were undefeated as well, and those boys fought the whole game.  I think the final score was 20-0, we made two touchdowns but the refs called them back for penalties, which is a whole different sore spot with us, cause this is flag and the refs were calling the game like it was varsity and being too hard on these kids.  Good luck next week!

Secondly, you all love to talk about us for trash talking...at least we have something to talk about  ::)!!  Look back and you'll see that this thread was started by someone from BH, and something tells me they might be a little worried about what's gonna happen to them in two weeks!  So, keep on talking, just makes the victory even more sweet!  If you ask nicely, we might even let you come watch us in the State Title game...so go buy your purple shirt before they're all gone!

Congrats Raidermom, my son plays on PN-G purple and we watched yalls game against PNG White and you guys really have a GREAT team!  With that being said, sadly we lost our game, so you guys will be playing WOS next Sat  :'(!  So, bring your A game and beat those Mustangs ya hear?  I hope we can make it out to see yall play, but my son was so upset that he did not get to play on our big field that I'm not sure if I will bring him or not.  You all enjoy getting to play at The Reservation, it is a first class facility and will be a wonderful experience for your little guys!  My son will be back on flag next year, so maybe we'll meet in the Superbowl then! P.S.  Watch out for those dark blue pants with dark blue flags...they're a booger!

Ok, I don't post on here much, but just have to get my thoughts in.  When district play started, each team we played would get on here and talk smack about how we haven't played anyone yet, then after we took care of business, at least one poster from the other team would say.."PN-G is the real deal!"  It has happened with LCM, Nederland, Livingston, Vidor, and now Ozen, go back and look at the last few posts from each game!  I look forward to the Central/PN-G thread when the game is over next week...any Central fan care to say it now and get it out of the way... ;D! To answer the post about Burnett playing his favorites last year and not the kids with the talent, yes, there was some talk about that, and it certainly seemed that way, and two kids who have shined this year come to mind, Spencer DeRon and Aaron Easley!!  When these guys were put in the games last year, they were GREAT, then for whatever reason he would take them out, and we lost!!  Now, they are both having a record year and have contributed leaps and bounds to the success of this team, one will be back, one will not.  There are others I am sure, but these two I remember well because people were screaming for him to play them more...several of our games last year may have had a different outcome.  So, there was talent on that team...just took the right guy to do something with it.  Please don't think I'm bashing Burnett, I'm not, he's a great guy and was a great coach, but something changed with him and it was his time to go.

Well, today is the day!!  My son plays for PN-G Purple and these kids are ready to play!  I tell you, these kids are first class!  During practice this, some of the parents were talking and said that they all asked their kids if they would rather play their game or trick or treat, and most of them said they wanted to do both...lol, but they also said, I gotta play cause my team needs me!!  We will most likely be playing in the last game at 6, which may not start until 6:30, and that means we won't get out of there until 8-8:30, so trick-or-treating may be cut short for them, but they all chose to play...they want a chance at the Superbowl and get to play at The Reservation!!  So, if you hear your doorbell ring later tonight, it just may be some little mud soaked NDN's!!

Support the teams that did make the playoffs!!

Well, in my opinion, there needs to be some BIG changes made!!! We have some great young talent and can and will be a big player in 22-4A, but only if some changes are made to the play calling and coaching.
