If you havent been to the Berry Center, I suggest you go this year. That place is unbelievable. Ive been to Abe Martin, Woodforest, Rice, etc. and The Berry Center is nice!

Tarkington has never got rid of a coach. Alot of coaches (good and bad) have left because of better opportunities, better money, the administration, facilities, or lack of winning. I see this being very close. Good luck to both teams

It aint the x's and o's. its the Jimmy's and Joe's. I knew a head coach who won the state championship one year and sat in a cover three all year with some studs at LB and DB. Then left and went somewhere else and went 0-10 and got fired the first year.

Im sorry I made a prediction. I thought this was a Huffman vs Cleveland prediction thread.

I never said that Huffman wasnt a good team or that they didnt play good vs Splendora. Just saying that I dont think (opinion) that they would have beat Splendora if they hadnt had all of the turnovers and that Cleveland will beat them. Who knows, just an opinion, everyone has one.

It doesn take a good defense for a guy to fumble or a QB to throw a pic right to someone. A good defense can make those plays happen. An offense playing like crap can make a "D" look good.

Cleveland by alot. Splendora had 7 turnovers. 3 fumbles and 4 pics. Fumbled inside the 15 twice and dropped a td pass in the endzone. Sweat couldnt have had a worse game. Huffman wont beat Cleveland or Coldspring. Quit acting like there District champs.

I agree, Cleveland is good. Maybe 22-3a can take one on 21-3a this year.

Adam was a big help but they had playoff yearS before and after him as well. And yes, I fully support the current staff. And your also kinda biased b/c I have an idea that you were on that staff, with all of your Hardin posts.

For one thing, Taylor ran the spread too. and another thing, his first couple of years there he was running off a program that was built by Coley, Nelson, Bosal and the rest of the previous staff. Thats all Im gonna say. It goes alot deeper than wins and losses, which if you notice got worse for Taylor as the Coley era kids ran out. Oh, and I never said staff, just HC. NC has coaches that are still there from the Taylor era and are good coaches.

I have no ties to Jasper or anyone around there but I find it funny when people question coaches and go around talking to everyone about them and never ask the coach himself whats going on. I always tell my athletes if you hear anyone dogging you or your coaches tell them to come set up a meeting so we can talk about our goals and its amazing the ones always running there mouths in the stands and the streets dont have the guts to question the coach face to face. just a pet peav.

I agree, Cleveland was the better team Friday night. The eagles did not show up to play. Im not going to take anything away from Tullos and the indians. They played good. Hopefully the eagles can get things going. its gonna be a tough road to fix things that the previous HC ran into the ground.
