1. What about Splendora or Shepherd......either of them have a chance......Splendora is always competitve, but have had alot of turnover lately....does that effect them?
2. I would venture to say his overall record is a losing one.......he had one good year at tarkington where they went 7-3, and the rest were bad.........his second tenure at t-town they won 1 district game in like 4 years.....never made the playoffs as a HC.....he is a great guy though and a family oriented man
3. don't count out the cats........coach villa will have dem boys ready to play.....
4. Indian 15/16, you sound like a mad parent, or school board member
5. With that loss, Fridays game agianst Splendora is huge....winner will be sitting in 2nd place all alone.....funny how tarkington can beat Huffman and Cleveland, but lose to Liberty, Shepherd and Splendora....sounds like inconsistency, which is a coaching thing
6. Tullos is in a good place now.......he is the HC at George Ranch HS, that is a step up from cleveland
7. Let me clear things up, CS has a very good staff, that is apparent, I was not saying they dont, if that is how it came across, my apologies. I just think Huffman is better, they get alot out of their kids, they are disciplined, and hard-nosed. If I was gonna rank em, it would go like this Huffman CS Cleveland Splendora Shepherd Tarkington Liberty
8. Trojan Fan....who is the best coached team in 22AAA, please dont say CS, it is easy to win when your athletes are superior.......cleveland has a good staff, but the best staff in the district is Huffman....Liberty has the most underachieving staff
9. In the Words of Chris Carter, all you guys get a "COME ON MAN"......you guys on here with the, she said, no i said , well you said, well my aunties brothers babies momma said..........Make a stinkin prediction.....mine is Liberty 42 Huffman 35 I am not a big liberty fan, but with this game being in Liberty, I say Liberty takes it
10. This will by far be Liberty's toughest non-district Test......This will be a good gauge of just how good they are....Kelly as always is talented, but I am looking forward to seeing how the Liberty/Huffman game goes next week
11. Splendora strugled in their first two games....but this week they put it together and get a W Splendora 28 Huntington 7
12. So play if KP beat a bad team by 3, what will they do to really bad teams in their district......(Caney Creek, New Caney, Porter)
13. Here are some numbers for both teams going in: Huffman in district: Huffman 56  Liberty 7   Huffman 54 Tarkington 0 Huffman 48 Shepherd 21 Huffman 49 Splendora 10 Huffman 56 Cleveland 14 52 pts a game 10 pts allowed a game avg. margin of victory: 42 pts Coldsspring in district: Coldspring 57 Tarkington 0 Coldspring 56 Shepherd 8 Coldspring 53 Splendora 10 Coldspring 48 Cleveland 8 53 pts a game 6 pts allowed a game avg. margin of victory 47 pts numbers say it will be a great game, but also say coldspring by 5............53-48
14. as much as beechnut would hate to see splendora get a win, I believe it happens, beechnut, why are you always hating on splendora? ???
15. no, any team that loses to huntington does not deserve playoffs........my boys up here in coldspring will hang 60+ on em...Liberty's wins are against Porter, who has lost all but one game, shepherd who is 0 fer, and tarkington who has one win....if shepherd does not fumble they beat liberty
16. game is for third place in 22-3A....who wins?
17. Looks like it could come down to the wire, Liberty and Shepherd play this week, a loss would all but eliminate the Pirates, Cleveland is still in the mix, but need some help after losing to splendora.....Splendora is 1-1 and playing huffman this week, which will put them 1-2, with Liberty, Tarkington and Shepherd their last three.....dont count Tarkington out, they have lost to Coldspring, huffman , and Liberty, and need some help
18.
I believe the once ruled "down and out" Liberty Panthers will go 6-4 (4-2) and be the 3rd place team in this 22-3A District. I could be wrong, but it sure is looking to go that route, with Coldspring and Huffman being the teams in the driver seat. Who wants third place bad enough? Looking at the schedule, it works out best for Liberty to be that team. Go Panthers!!
I am Pretty sure they cannot go 6-4 right now they only have 2 wins  and still have to play coldspring so the best they can go is 5-5, which I do not think will happen I believe cleveland still beats them, and dont rule out splendora
19. Indian for life........do you even know what offense cleveland runs, or how to spell "use". If your baby is not playing it is probably cause he is not one of the best 11 out there......what is funny to me is how little you know about some of the teams cleveland has played. Silsbee, and Brookshire are some of the top programs in the state so if you think you know more about football than the coaches, go out and get a degree and coach, if not than let it go........bottom line......cleveland would still be in the same boat if they had someone else.........as playa said, the senior class that is there now is only half of what it used to be.......Those kids are good, but it take more that a few seniors to get it done
