GO BRONCO'S ~ [/quote]   I agree the pass defense looks better than in the past years. The DBs are playing the ball not just following the receivers around the field. The only thing is the front three have to get more penetration and pressure on the QB. Even in the GP game the QB had to much time to throw the ball. The D made an adjustment at half time and started putting some pressure sendind a LB at times. The teams that throw the ball leave alot of time on the clock and if you can control the game on the ground when you have a lead you can keep the other offense limited.

Coach Stewart for the Bronos. Could have put up 80 pts on Lee but put 2nd and 3rd string in early. Kept the team healthy and watch out 19 4A. :o

Just keep everybody healthy and it will be all good. We all know how "The Legend" Stewart rolls, give him 50 and the starters can sit. So at the 9 min mark in the 2 qrt the starters can sit.

I have got to admit I was a little nervous the first half. It didnt seem like the D line got much penetration the first half but once they rattled the GP QB it was over with. GP was 1 dimensional and did not commit to the run enough. In tuff games you have got to be able to control the clock with the lead. That kinda of worries me about the Dayton O because we dont set up long drives but rely on the big play. One thing I did see last night was a little more passing to the middle of the field. #15 McBride caught 3 and seems like it went for twenty yards every time. Keep rolling BRONCOS.

BH is in trouble if they do not spead their offense. They didnt look like their o line was built for a power offense. No way could they get past the first round and they better be concerned about even making the playoffs.

You havent seen much from 15 McBride (soph) but it seems like every time he touches the ball it goes for 10 yds. I think he needs more touches and that could open it up some.

[/quote] It is smart to have better teams in your district for rankings. Come 4 teams from the district go to the playoffs so you want to see where you rank against the big boys.

As long as Dayton does not put the ball on the carpet they should be alright. I have seen the stats on GP and they look like they have a good offense but they have not seen a defense like Dayton. I think it will be a closer game than most the predictions  28-21 Dayton.
