  1. Congrats to Em Kosh for a job well done!  Coach Matthews would be proud......which I'm guessing, she is already aware of how well Kosh's kids did----I hear Matthews keeps in touch with her former players.
  2. It really doesn't matter, but for the record, BC had 1 kid 5'9" and 2 kids 5'8" (or maybe a bit under that), and the rest were 5'6" or shorter.  I agree with not being able to judge height from the stands.  I think the short comment was just a funny remark that has been made due to the fact that BC always seemed to be lacking in height & that's why they fought so hard at defense.  Hey, it worked for China in the early days...why not go with it?!!!  LOL  But, I'm agreeing with the great season.  And, we'll never know how far they could've gone without the losses to Caldwell & Columbus...doesn't matter---just say BEST of Luck to the final four!!!
  3. You know....anyone can beat anyone on any given night...but I sure hope Columbus wins!!!  The biggest disadvantage for them will be the lack of experience (compared to Lovejoy & WImberley) at the State Tournament.  But, hey!  ya never know!!  Go Cardinals!!!!  :)
  4. Well, after tonight's game against LaGrange, we shall see who makes it to state....  Should be a good game
  5. Columbus in 4....WOW---this is the 2nd year that Bridge City got knocked out by a team that advanced to the Regional Tournament.  Last year, Caldwell advanced to State!!!  And, the same goes for Tarkington...
  6. Congrats on a great season, Lady Panthers!  I know Magnolia was a tough team....but still proud of your accomplishments.
  7. Congrats on a great season, Lady Cardinals!  Very impressed with the fight you showed after having to make adjustments without your starting setter---shows a lot of poise.  You girls always fight no matter what---makes you very enjoyable to watch.  Be happy with your season....it was your hard work that got you in the post-season!
  8. Both are good teams, but I'm going to go with Woodville in 4.  Good luck to both teams!  Great season thus far.
  9. All area teams are eliminated.  Hamshire-Fannett and Nederland out in 1st round.  Ozen, PN-G, Bridge City, and Silsbee in 2nd round (area).  However, Woodville & Hardin still in.  They will play each other.
  10. Any idea on start time for the Tarkington/Columbus game Tuesday????
  11. Bridge City will play Columbus tonight (Thursday) at 7:30 p.m. in the Kingwood Park High School Gymnasium.
  12. Bridge City will be playing Columbus on Thursday at 7:30 at KINGWOOD PARK High School.
  13. Yeah, I agree with not saying things that are gonna come back & bite ya in the butt.  I am, however, a llittle curious as to when MUSCLE was the only thing that won volleyball games??!!!!!
  14. District 21-3A: 1. Silsbee 2. Bridge City
  15. BC will play Liberty for Bi-District on Tuesday at Barbers Hill--7:30 start time.
