1. I guess I'll add something else. The Hughes kid from Lumberton... I cant really say anything about him as when Lum played LCM, Hughes spent all night flat on the turf.  That night was NOT a good night for him or the team.
 2. I've read all of the posts in this thread and I'll put my two cents in now. The poster for Livingston's QB:  I was at the LCM/ LIV game through all 3 OTs.  LIV through 4 passes. 0 complete EXCEPT the INT.  The kid is one HELLUVA runner and a VERY GOOD CB but QB's are traditionally rated by their passing so that is why he is not in the running here. Green from Ozen:  A QB is only as good as his receiver corps and his O line.  If Green were QB for PNG or LCM?  WOW!  BUT... He isnt at LCM or PNG. He is at 0-9 Ozen. Doty has amazing receivers and an amazing O line so he puts up big numbers. I think he will only get better. The kid from Central has done a very good job this year but I wasnt overly impressed in his game vs LCM. YES, they won but it was LCMs mistakes that won that game. Gonzales... Kid is UNREAL.  Great receivers including his runningbacks.  The kid is the toughest I've ever seen.  Had the trainer brace him up between series' and took the Bears to the W in OT while hopping on one leg vs LIV.  He runs well too. Ned QB we will see about Friday.  I havent seen him.
 3.
Here's another question....Who cares? All these "who is the best" threads turn into a homer contest and end up with people talking crap on a kid or talking crap on a school. All 3 have had great seasons and Mitchell is going to be something else these next two years. It is going to be a tough vote for the coaches when voting for All-District this year. I find it hilarious that people act with shock that someone would pick one over another that doesn't line up with their opinion.
THANK YOU!

 5. And I'll bet a hotdog at the game Friday that the PNG/ Ozen refs were from GALVESTON!
 6.

LCM better blow out PNG if they want to win, because I have seen some strange things happen with the refs in Mid- county!!! ;D :D ;) Can I get an Amen!!!
Wow you must not remember the WORST officiating I have ever seen when LCM came to PNG last year. Yes he was from Orange County , even threw one flag against PNG and showed excitement. I hope they never let this guy back in Port Neches, it was terrible. Everybody gets bad calls from time to time , it happens. I have umpired baseball in the past and believe me you know when you blow it but some things are beyond blowing it. As in everything some people are better than others , I guess officiating is no different. Slam14 - as a PNG fan I say we are the underdog this year.I feel we have the best offense in district this year but might be last in defense. LCM has a good team and should be recognized as such. I am not making any predictions on this one , just staying hopeful.
Officiating...... hmmmm.  LAST YEAR: The officiating at The Res WAS horrible.... BOTH WAYS.  When PNG fans booed the officials after the instant replay showed a PNG player pull the LCM receiver down by his collar BEFORE the ball got to him and there was no flag? It WAS bad. At the Butch.... LCM vs OZEN. The refs were from Galveston and they were the worst I have EVER seen.  Gonzales fumbled the ball after he went out of bounds, the Ozen player picks it up PAST the sideline stripe (about 2ft wide stripe) and they give the ball to OZEN? Then at LCM vs Central.... SAME REFS!  They need seeing eye dogs.  They wander around the field LOST! I'm starting to think the GT refs arent so bad! LCM by 12
 7. Sorry... That should be Central @ LCM

 9. If PNGs defense shows up then Lumberton by 1..... If they dont, then Lumberton by a lot.

We can sit here and say that prior to the season starting, everyone was saying that the road for district goes through PN-G.  Well if thats the case, i like that road.  Everyone predicted that Livingston would hand us our first district loss and that Livingston would go on to take the crown, well that didn't happen last night.  You beat Lumberton, who had a good 3 year run.  You beat Ozen, what I call our Basketball school.  Holla at me when you beat Central, Nederland, PN-G, Livingston and even Vidor on a consitant basis.  Holla at me when you make it past the 2nd round or even past the 1st round of the playoffs.  Until then, you are just the other school in Orange County.  But what would that prove. Us at Central know how it feels to always be picked against, be the underdog, non-favorite.  No score prediction needed, we will prove it on the field.  To all my Central fans, be there early and be loud cause apparently we still have something to prove.
And everyone said LCM MIGHT win 1 game, and everyone said LCM WOULD be last in district....  Blah blah blah... The schedules only matter from Sept 24th on.  See you Friday.  And PLEASE DO come early so you can atleast enjoy the pregame warm ups because unless youre sittin on the east side of the stadium, its going to get more and more uncomfortable as the night goes on!
 11.
They wanted to bury Central after the lackluster showing against PAM and WB.  Well, looks like Central got back to being themselves by running the ball and throwing when necessary.  Y'all know how I feel about Spread teams and their softness.  Central proved they could go on the road and get hit in the mouth by Livingston and hit them back. Despite LC-M's win last night, I wasn't impressed.  Ozen didn't stay with the bigger running back and their safeties were out of position on both TD's.  Like I said, better coach on 11th street will lead to a 3 TD victory @the Butch.....
1st. Central vs LCM is not at the Butch.... It's in BEAR COUNTRY. 2nd. Central should not let LCMs score vs Ozen go to your heads.  LCM was in clock management for most of the second half.  Coach Crouch doesnt run up the score. 3rd.  Scores dont matter in district.  Ws and Ls matter.  LCM WILL be ready for Central. LCM by 12
 12. LCM is averaging 45 ppg.  Although Ozen possesses some amazing speed, I'm going to say LCM 54 - 12.
