the 'cats were never in danger of losing the game. and were winded. and this was a realization.. the 'cats also played great football at points too. just hope its all together from here on out. it is all about the win after all.

Tackling was a major issue. While LV found ways to make plays.. It happened from missed tackles a large majority of the time. But that's ok. They got the win and surely fired Up for these next two rematches should they happen. We find out one tonight. Any word on stadium and time if coldspring wins. ? I heard Beaumont for sure but not day or time or which venue

i dont know HOW many times there SHOULD of been a loss of 10 or more yards and tackles were missed turning in big gains... kirbyville played horrible tonight on many occasions. offensively in the second half, i can live with that. and holding to seven in the first half.. i can live with that as well. Waco LaVega just CRUSHED a 9-1 team 42-0 last week!!! they ARE a good team. Kirbyville, unfortunately, played in a soft district. this game was a wake up call not something to worry about .. they will be back and in gear to go. LaVega gained the most yards after contact that I think I will ever see. as for the bandwagon jumpers.. go right ahead. as for the rematch... kville wants it just as bad as wos. and setx.

white oak had to forfeit two wins for playing a fifth year senior or something.. they are in tatums district though.. other than that their district is weak.. should be a good matchup but i still say newton by 10

[/quote] I think that Coldspring and Kirbyville are very evenly matched.  It was a close game before and it will be a very close game the next time they meet if that is too happen.  I do believe they will meet in the third round, but there are a few games before that.  I think the coaching is very even also.  I like are chances against Kirbyville if we meet again, but we have to take care of some other business first. [/quote] I agree with you but being district champions would have meant more. Very proud of this Orangefield team. Nobody expected this Orangefield team to accomplish what they did. The kids showed everone. Got to love it. In my day only one team went. The playoff experience mean't more back then. It was the best against the best in each district every playoff game. Think about this, it is not hard to get up if you are playing a district champion. What good does it do to play a third place team and beat them 50-0. That does not prepare you for the road ahead. [/quote] Bc some districts third place teams are better than others champions. Theres some really tough districts and some winners of district get beat bad by 2nd or 3rd place. If it were still only the top team u would see more fire to start the district race but after u lose say one game u may be completely out. Some districts are extremely competitive in both div I and div II. Some districts can WIN both.

[/quote] I disagree...  I think Brandon Williams and Brookshire Royal will end Giddings' season here in Brenham on Friday.  If that happens, WOS will play the best athlete they've seen all year.  I can't wait wait to check him out Friday. [/quote] they were depending on a win/loss of less than 5 to get in the playoffs. i believe that OF's last drive ended on an interception? anyways, had they got down the field enough to kick a field goal, they would be in the number three spot (Orangefield that is) I heard that BC pulled key players since they were not depending on a win against OF. as far as i'm concerned.. it should be OF in the playoffs not BC.. as for the matchup of kville/BC.. there was a lot of busted plays and for whatever reason.. teams like BC and OF usually put up numbers even when they are not having good seasons at all (i.e. KVILLE 49 OF 42 a couple years back) BC is going to get blasted in this game i think .. sorry .. but for Coldspring only beating one good team?? Huffman is GOOD .. believe it.
