1.

Stampley will be behind the plate as the starter and have Kanton at first as a regular. Feltman is a good ball player and should get some playing time behind the plate but hard to beat out Stamp ot Kanton. The pitching as always is deep in Nederland and many of the pitchers are excellent fielders also. Can't wait to see them start playing again. My favorite time of the year. Good luck to all the 20-4A teams except when you play the Bulldogs.
Where will Brown play when he is not pitching if Richard is at 1st every game?  Brown was everyday 1st last year.  Richard and Brown will be in the lineup somewhere.  Richard could rotate between catcher and 1st or be DH when not at first. Stamp could also rotate between catcher and DH.  Ultimately it will come down to who has their bat going.  Some of the players I have seen listed are good but may ultimately end up on JV to get playing time.  Every year I see people assume that certain underclassmen will be on varsity but it doesn't happen.  You never know until the end of January.  It all depends on their bat!!  I look for the following returners to be in the lineup at some position: Brown(P/1B/3B), K. Richard(1B/C/DH), Duplant(SS/3B), Broussard(CF), Fontenot(SS/3B/2B), Raines(OF), Wood(3B/OF), Laselle(P/OF),?.  Only 2 openings if you count a possible DH.    Nederland is full of talent...Makes it tough to move up.
I agree with the returners but Nederland is deep enough to have the bench come in and never miss a beat. Been around this group of kids a long time and am anxious to see what they will do. The JV team will be extremely strong as well. Will be interesting to see who makes what team. Good luck to the Bulldogs. See ya at the game!!!!!

3. Want tocongratulate all of our football players on making the all district teams. Eack young man is deserving of this honor. I especially want to congratulate Corbin Carr hell of a year buddy. Now on to the next level.
4. My 12 year old son is looking to play some baseball over the fall. If anyone knows of a team needing a player please let me know. E-mail is [email protected] thank you.
5. Congrats to all the Bulldogs. They have done an excellent job this year that s for sure. I can't wait to see how the play-off games play out to see if we can get a huge crowd for a possible double header with two 20-4A teams playing. Just think if PNG and Nederland play back to back...........
6. Nederand will win this one by 24. The line is improving so the run game will continue to get better. A few backs that have good speed good hands with the recievers and accurate QB. Defense is solid and faster than many think. Haven't seen BH play but looking into things I feel Nederland definately has the better team.
7. I have to work tonight but heart is with the bulldogs today. Keep the updates coming. And a special good luck to all the seniors
8. Buna will tke this series tomorrow in the first game. Bats have been good most of the year and that is what will get them through this series.
9. Well we had this last series and pilled it off. I have known Cody for most of my life. I know he makes decisions that may not be popular with some but it is what he feels is right. No matter what there will be some individual that will armchair anything. The Bulldogs will be back in it and win the next two.
10. I have both watched and coached many kids from Nederland over the past 12 years or so and have to say they are very talented. I watched many games for PNG and they have a great group coming through. I myself even though my kid is not on any team for Nederland do look forward to the next few years of ball coming through Mid-County no matter what level the kids are on. To all the PNG kids keep playing hard and make sure when WE as in NED/PNG go to the play-offs that we support each other until the end. Though rivals on the field the friendships are what the sport brings together.
