  1. Lovelady, 1A, needs jv game this week. Aug. 29 [email protected]
  2. great athlete just not even decent team around him. Weak 2a district and couldn't lead them to playoffs? Wish we had him but with better competition we will see!!
  3. and a one win team as well. Burkeville playoff bound with one win all year.
  4. The kid from Lovelady is a better QB until injury than anyone in this district. Stats can be misleading but leaders can not. Passing, running, running the offense, there is no comparison he is the best football player in the district.
  5. QB #5 Lovelady, broken fibula, six weeks minimum, unless deep playoff run his season is over. 6'4" and runs 4.5. Needless to say he will be missed.
  6. Like I said. Lovelady is better than last year, especially on offense. Several ways to score through the air and on the ground. 43 points in one quarter maybe a record. West Hardin has not played anyone on that level this year. I hope no one was hurt too bad. Good luck the rest of the way.
  7. #28 was on the sideline for Grapeland and Groveton games as well. He is a difference maker but LL beat some good teams without him so it's not all him. #5 MVP of district last year, #22 newcomer of the year and several all district picks back so now you have to stop all. Like I said very dangerous on offense.
  8. Everybody was making these same predictions last year based on the records of both teams and remember what happened. West Hardin may be better than last year but so is Lovelady. 1-5 last year at this time, 5-1 this year. LL by at least 2 scores the Oilers haven't seen this much speed on the field this year.
  9. Lovelady wins 27-14. Defense pitched a shutout in second half.
  10. Lovelady's closest game in this district last year was 28pts. I'll take them to win it West Sabine, West Hardin, Hull, Colmesneil.
  11. I agree HD if Hull doesn't turn the ball over they will have a great chance. If they do it could be a long night. They should be able to manage the clock and keep panther offense off the field.
  12. They did have mercy the clock barely stopped the second half. Lovelady 4-0 in district!
  13. Their season hasn't ended yet they still have to go to Lovelady. Isn't this the second time this year that Colmesneil has been involved in fighting with player ejections and benches clearing?
  14. hd your promise came true. If LL doesn't put in the backups hull would have only lost by 38 so no 40 point loss. Lovelady is better than their record and now district champs.
  15. Sherman didn't play last year in the playoff game against Hull and has been ineligible since moving so he wouldn't play anyway. Give this years team credit several of these kids played on last years team so it wasn't all seniors. #22 Kelly (soph.) had his best game of the year against WS 4 tds. two rushing and two recieving and Lovelady has scored over 40 pts. in both district games while holding the opponents to 4 tds. total with one of those against the backups. This years team is finally getting healthy and is gaining a whole lot of confidence. Should be a good game.
